In the spirit of football, we can all say Happy New Month y'all...

This review captures the return of football from the international break, with lot of Derby matches.

Saturday, The first of October started with the most anticipated NORTH LONDON DERBY (NLD) Between the in-form Arsenal team topping the Epl table and their local Rival The Tottenham Hotspur, who had played 7 games unbeaten, going into this feature.

The match kick off at the Emirates stadium in the early afternoon with both teams starting their first and strongest available XI.

The Arsenal dominant the play forcing the spurs to their own half with a beautiful passing skills, and imposing their plays on the spurs , while the spurs absorbs the pressure looking for a through pass to break the high line defence of the Gunner with the speed of son, kane and the Brazilian Richardlison.

The breakthrough came in the 20th minutes with Partey curling in a fine pass from Ben White with about 10 players of spurs behind the ball.

Spurs came knocking thereafter which got them a free kick due to the challenge from Arsenal's Gabriel

The second half began and Arsenal take the lead one more time, before Emerson Royal sees RED from a poor tackle on Gabriel Martelneli

Arsenal added the third and the match ended 3-1 with Partey, Gabriel Jesus, Xhaka; kane getting on the scoresheet.

The cherries ( Bournemouth) held the Bees , Brentford to a goalless draw , while the Chelsea team under the new manager of Potter grabbed a later winner away from home against the Eagles of crystal palace in a close physical encounter, thanks to a late strike from the young Academy graduate on loan at Crystal Palace last season Cannon Gallagher
The win moved Chelsea to 5th position.

Fulham suffered a heavy 1-4 defeat from Newcastle United with Miguel Almiron getting a Double against the cartages. Later in the evening, we witnessed a six goals thrilling encounter between the Red (Liverpool) still struggling this season and the high flying Brighton.

The exciting fixture saw liverpool falling behind from a 2 goals scored in 17th minutes by Trosaard.
The game turned around when Firminho strikes one back before the Half time , then added another at the 54th minutes, Liverpool took the lead in what seems like a very sensational comeback, L. Trosaard strikes his third to deny the RED all 3 points.

The Brighton team will be the happiest to leave the Anfield stadium with a point away from home lying comfortably on 4th position on the table.

Southampton fell to a 2-1 defeat at the St Mary's Stadium at the hands of the Toffees (Everton) while the final match for this lovely Saturday is between West Ham United and the Wolves at the London Stadium
The match ended in a 2-0 win in favour of the home side (Westham United)

The hammers plunge woeful wolves into the drop zone, the results of this feature saw wolves part company with their Head coach B.Lage Making him the third manager to be sacked in the English top flight with just eight games into the 2022/23 Premier League season.

Sunday came in so fast as we witnessed the Manchester Derby between the blue side of the Manchester and the red side.

Foden also bagged three in a 6-3 thumping for Manchester City over Manchester United as Pep Guardiola's men moved back within one point of league leaders Arsenal and extended their unbeaten run in England's top flight to 20 games. although substitute Anthony Martial claimed a late brace, pouncing on Ederson's parry from Fred's shot and then converted a deserved 91st-minute penalty to record his fourth and fifth goals in this fixture.

The second Sunday fixtures, saw 10 men Leeds hold the Villan to a goalless draw, as the villains can't capitalise on the red card.

Monday night football returned with two bottom teams face-off between the Nottingham Forest and the Liecester City.
A magical display from the Englishman James Maddison fires the Foxes to a wonderful win at home against the newly promoted Forests.

Leicester City finally ended their wait for a Premier League (PL) win by demolishing Nottingham Forest in the East Midlands derby. James Maddison brought up a half-century of goals for the Foxes with a brace that included an exquisite free-kick to lift his side off the foot of the table.

It's always fun watching these games looking forward to game week 10 for more bants and drama.
