¡De vuelta a mi primer campo de fútbol! | Storytelling Deportivo [ESP | ENG]
¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog! Y me siento bastante feliz de poder subir este vídeo corto a mi canal de @threespeak-es donde les quiero contar el día de hoy que he vuelto al primer lugar que me vió jugar fútbol en la vida, el campo de la calle 15 de Lomas del Ávila (zona donde vivo).
Quiero contarles todo el trasfondo de cómo llegué ahí y el cómo me sentí luego de 3 años sin pisar el campo que me vió nacer en este mundo del balonpié.
Welcome back to my blog! And I feel quite happy to be able to upload this short video to my @threespeak-es channel where I want to tell you today that I have returned to the first place that saw me play soccer in my life, the field of Street 15 in Lomas del Ávila (the area where I live).
I want to tell you all the background of how I got there and how I felt after 3 years without stepping on the field that saw me born in this world of soccer.
Mis inicios | My beginnings
Desde que tengo uso de razón he amado el fútbol, siento que este deporte me ha transformado en la persona que soy hoy, comencé siendo fanático de la selección de Brasil, el ver a Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Nazario, Roberto Carlos, Robinho, Dida, Cafú, Rivaldo, Juninho y demás bestias del fútbol me hicieron enamorarme perdidamente, era imposible no hacerlo con la magia que había tras cada uno de los pases y goles que hacía esa selección.
Luego supe que Ronaldo Nazario había entrado en el equipo conocido como Real Madrid, así que comencé a ver los partidos del equipo al que llamaban «Los Galácticos», todo esto por el simple hecho de la cantidad de estrellas que jugaban juntos, creando así, uno de los equipos más temerarios del mundo en La Liga española de fútbol.
En el mismo equipo conocí a Iker Casillas, mi primer modelo a seguir, pues, como he contado en veces anteriores, comencé en este mundo como portero, era mi gran afán hasta que sufrí una lesión en la cervical que no me permitió volver a portear por un par de años, para luego desaparecer toda intención de volverlo a hacer a pesar de que siempre amé ese rol.
Comencé jugando fútbol en el estacionamiento de mi edificio, lugar donde no me importaba tirarme al suelo y rasparme las rodillas o los codos jugando, siempre con mi camisa manga larga del Real Madrid con el número 1 en la espalda, número que identificaba a Iker.
Since I can remember I have loved soccer, I feel that this sport has transformed me into the person I am today, I started being a fan of the Brazilian national team, watching Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Nazario, Roberto Carlos, Robinho, Dida, Cafu, Rivaldo, Juninho and other soccer beasts made me fall madly in love, it was impossible not to do so with the magic behind each of the passes and goals made by that team.
Then I learned that Ronaldo Nazario had joined the team known as Real Madrid, so I started to watch the games of the team they called "Los Galacticos", all this for the simple fact of the amount of stars that played together, creating one of the most reckless teams in the world in the Spanish soccer league.
In the same team I met Iker Casillas, my first role model, because, as I have told in previous times, I started in this world as a goalkeeper, it was my great desire until I suffered a cervical injury that did not allow me to return to porting for a couple of years, then disappear all intention of doing it again even though I always loved that role.
I started playing soccer in the parking lot of my building, a place where I didn't mind throwing myself on the ground and scraping my knees or elbows playing, always with my long sleeve Real Madrid shirt with the number 1 on the back, the number that identified Iker.
Mi primer campo | My first field
El tiempo pasa volando y muchas veces la única manera que tenemos de saberlo, son las fotografías, esos recuerdos que nos dejaron algunas grandes vivencias; yo comencé a jugar fútbol a la edad de 12 años, es decir, hace 15 años.
Cuando comencé a jugar, el campo de la calle 15 de Lomas del Ávila no tenía grama artificial, era un campo de tierra con muchísimas piedras que eran bastante molestas pero que cada uno de nosotros, los jugadores que íbamos ocasionalmente, manteníamos limpio para poder divertirnos; recuerdo el horario de juego y todo, siempre bajábamos a las 3:00pm o a las 4:00pm y nos íbamos cuando se iba la luz, a eso de las 6:30pm o 7:00pm.
Como unos 5 o 6 años calculo yo de haber empezado a jugar, un nuevo alcalde llegó al municipio donde vivo y gestionó el ponerle grama artificial al campo para volverlo un lugar muchísimo más épico (y por supuesto más cómodo) para jugar, desde entonces, la hemos pasado increíble creando historia ahí.
En el año 2019 dejé de jugar fútbol en ese campo porque comencé a jugar fútbol en mi universidad, así que ya el tiempo no me daba para nada, luego, motivado a la pandemia, no pude salir a jugar ni en el año 2020, ni a principios de este año, pero hace un par de días tuve mi primer partido en este campo después de 3 largos años sin poder correr en esa grama artificial.
Debo admitir que aunque el campo no está nada cuidado, pues el deterioro con el tiempo de las mallas, las porterías y hasta la misma grama artificial me dieron muchísima nostalgia, pero de igual forma me sentí demasiado feliz de poder haber tenido unos 8 minutos y medio para correr en ese partido, ya que básicamente entré fue de cambio para el delantero que estaba en el partido.
Time flies by and many times the only way we have to know it, are the photographs, those memories that left us some great experiences; I started playing soccer at the age of 12, that is, 15 years ago.
When I started playing, the field on 15th Street in Lomas del Avila did not have artificial grass, it was a dirt field with a lot of stones that were quite annoying but that each of us, the players who went occasionally, kept clean to have fun; I remember the game schedule and everything, we always went down at 3:00pm or 4:00pm and we left when the lights went out, around 6:30pm or 7:00pm.
About 5 or 6 years after I started playing, a new mayor came to the municipality where I live and managed to put artificial turf on the field to make it a much more epic (and of course more comfortable) place to play, since then, we have had an incredible time creating history there.
In 2019 I stopped playing soccer on that field because I started playing soccer at my university, so I didn't have time for anything, then, due to the pandemic, I couldn't go out to play neither in 2020, nor at the beginning of this year, but a couple of days ago I had my first game on this field after 3 long years without being able to run on that artificial turf.
I must admit that although the field is not at all well kept, as the deterioration over time of the meshes, the goals and even the artificial turf itself made me very nostalgic, but I was also very happy to have had about 8 and a half minutes to run in that game, since I basically came in as a change for the striker who was in the game.
Mi equipo actual | My actual team
Este equipo de fútbol conocido como Lomas del Avila FC, es un equipo conformado por muchas de las personas con las que jugué en aquél entonces, hace más de 5 años, es increíble que el capitán del equipo es un chamo que hoy en día está preparándose para ser un futbolista profesional y yo jugué con él desde que él tenía como 9 años de edad, así que, más allá del hecho de poder jugar fútbol, cosa que me hace increíblemente feliz, el hecho de coincidir con jugadores que conozco desde hace tanto me hace sentir en familia muy rápido.
El Domingo debuté en el equipo y tuvimos un partido de un torneo local que tenemos justo ahí en la calle 15 de Lomas del Ávila, terminó 0-0 el marcador por actuaciones majestuosas de ambos porteros y varios errores en nuestra táctica que hizo que no atacáramos como era debido.
Hoy tuve mi primer entrenamiento con ellos, a eso de las 8:30am y debo decir que me sentí increíblemente bien, luego tuvimos un partido de entrenamiento y lo ganamos 4-3 con dos asistencias mías y un gol fallido, se imaginarán entonces lo que puede pasar pronto.
This soccer team known as Lomas del Avila FC, is a team formed by many of the people I played with back then, more than 5 years ago, it is incredible that the captain of the team is a guy who today is preparing to be a professional soccer player and I played with him since he was about 9 years old, so, beyond the fact of being able to play soccer, which makes me incredibly happy, the fact of coinciding with players I have known for so long makes me feel like family very fast.
On Sunday I made my debut in the team and we had a match of a local tournament that we have right there in the 15th street of Lomas del Avila, the score ended 0-0 due to majestic performances of both goalkeepers and several mistakes in our tactics that made us not attack as we should.
Today I had my first training with them, at about 8:30am and I must say that I felt amazing, then we had a training match and won it 4-3 with two assists from me and a missed goal, you can imagine then what can happen soon.

Se siente increíble el volver a esta gran comunidad, sobretodo contando esta parte sobre mí y celebrando el hecho de que he vuelto a las andanzas con el fútbol en la zona donde vivo con personas que vivieron mis inicios conmigo a través de este post y del vídeo subido a mi canal de @threespeak.

It feels amazing to come back to this great community, especially telling this part about myself and celebrating the fact that I have returned to soccer in the area where I live with people who lived my beginnings with me through this post and the video uploaded to my @threespeak channel.
