T20 Indian Premier league 2021 - Day 4 [PBKS vs RR]

Day 4 of the IPL 2021. Today's match was between Punjab Kings [PBKS] and Rajashan Royals [RR]

RR won the toss and elected to field

PBKS started well. PBKS scored 221/6 in 20 overs. The star attraction was a magnificient 91 by KL Rahul and 64 by Deepak Hooda. Chris Gayle also scored 40 runs.

In reply to the big score, RR lost few early wickets. But good partnerships took them very close but were unable to win it. RR scored 217/7 in 20 overs
A magnicifient 119 by sanju samson did not secure the win.

RR needed 13 off the last over, but managed only 9 runs.
Losing the match by 4 runs.

A high scoring match. Well fought by PBKS at the end.

Analysis

Today was the day where catches were dropped and they proved very costly. Both the teams were guilty for that.
Bowling was not good from both the teams, except for the last over by PBKS where they defended 13 runs
Bowling and catching is the worrying factor for both the teams.

The scores would have been totally different if those catches would have been taken.

Overall a good match to watch. Lots of fours and sixes.
