Hello sports lovers, I wrote a post about how a team can be more creative before. Now I will write a post about the transfers made by the team I support. I support Galatasaray, one of the 4 biggest teams in Turkey. In general, the transfers made in Turkey are made as footballers over the age of 32 who are now the last stop before retirement. Because usually clubs pay high salaries and there is still a chance to play in Europe. So it is also attractive for players. This year this has changed a bit. I mean, there have been older players, but I have no doubts about the quality or performance of these players. Without further ado, let's take a look at the signings and how bargain they were. For those who don't know, there is a restriction on foreign players in Turkey. Each team must play 3 Turkish players in the starting 11. This doubles the value of Turkish players. You should have at least 5-6 Turkish players in your team that you can trust so that you don't have problems when you change players. Abdulkerim drew attention with his performance at Konyaspor last season. 5 goals and 3 assists is a really good contribution for a central defender. I watched about 10 games of Konyaspor last season and I really think he is not a bad player. However, some players can look good in some teams. The important thing is whether he will have the same effect in big teams. So far, I don't see it as a great transfer, especially not a transfer that can replace Marcao. Nevertheless, buying a player worth 5 million euros for 2.8 million euros is a success in my opinion. Especially when all the other big teams in Turkey want the player. Moreover, the player is only 27 years old. If he gets used to the team and performs well, Galatasaray will not have any stopper problem for 5 years.

Kazimcan Karatas

I interpret this transfer as a substitute rather than a starter. As I said, he is a player who can sometimes come into the game and strengthen the rotation due to the rule of playing Turkish players. Also, the fact that he is young and promises a lot of potential makes his transfer logical for me. The player's position is left back and he played 23 games for his former team last season. I haven't watched much of this player's matches so I won't comment on his performance.

I did some research on Sergio a few years ago when he was making a good debut for Porto, but at that time his price was too expensive and it was not possible for him to come to Turkey. No player wants to play in Turkey in his prime, at least not big players. He played half of last year for Porto and half for Roma. 8 goals 2 assists in 46 games, not bad for a central midfielder. The leagues he did this in are better leagues than Turkey in my opinion. So I expect him to perform much better in Turkey. I watched all 3 matches in Turkey. Almost the whole team is very new so it is not right to make a clear evaluation but as far as I watched, he is not a dynamic player. Yes he dribbles and runs a lot in the game but he likes to move the ball instead of running. The most important feature I noticed is that he doesn't lose the ball. He somehow keeps the ball and always makes successful passes. This is important in big teams. Also the two teams he played for last year are both big teams. That means he is aware of the expectations of a big team and he is used to it. The player is worth 12 million euros and Galatasaray paid only 3 million euros. I think the fact that he is 30 years old has a lot to do with it, but he can still perform at a high level for 3-4 years at Galatasaray. I forgot to mention that he is very good at free-kicks. In the last game he had a free kick that hit the crossbar from a very long distance.

Haris Seferovic

Last year, Diagne, Mostafa Mohamed and Gomis had up and down performances and none of them was a regular starter. For me, Mohamed was the best of the lot, he should have played in every game, but that's not the subject of this article. Seferovic is a player who has been linked with many teams in Turkey before. Although he didn't play many games last season due to injuries, the year before he had 26 goals and 7 assists in 48 games. With his tall height and strong physique, he is always a suitable center forward in the Turkish league. He is also a player who can pass well and put wingers in position. I can't say he played very well in the 3 games I watched so far. He missed a couple of clear goals and has no goals. Nevertheless, I think he will play better and perform at a high level as the players get used to each other. Galasaray has loaned the player for 1 year for 1 million euros. The player's purchase option is 2.5 million euros. I don't know if Galatasaray will use this option but considering his current value is 8 million euros, this is a good transfer.

Leo Dubois

Leo is Lyon's right-back and also the captain of the team. Last season, despite some minor injuries, he made 28 appearances and provided 3 assists. I found his assists a bit low. In my opinion, right backs who play for big teams should have more assists. Because they also do a lot of work in offense. Honestly, I won't comment on his performance since I haven't watched many of his matches, but the fact that he is the captain of Lyon tells me that he is a good player. He also played 13 games for the France national team. I can't evaluate his performance for Turkey because he got injured before the official matches and missed 3 matches. He is expected to play in the next match. I expect him to perform in a few games after he comes back from injury. Leo is worth 10 million euros and Galatasaray transferred him for only 2.5 million euros. The best part is that Leo is 27 years old and if he performs well he can be sold for a higher price after 2 years.

Fredrik Midtsjö

Fredrik is a central midfielder who is in every part of the game. He is a very dynamic and active player. He is good in both offense and defense. In soccer, substitutes are as important as the starters. You always need a reliable substitute or even a player you can play without hesitation in place of the starter. Midtsjö is exactly that kind of player. I don't watch the Dutch league much, the comments I made above are based on his performances in Turkey. His passing is very good and he is a box to box type of player. Even though he is not appreciated at the moment, I think he will make a big contribution to the team as the season progresses. He already has one assist in 2 games. His value is 6 million euros and the transfer fee is 3.5 million euros.

Dries Mertens

I'm sure everyone who watches football knows Mertens. He is a Napoli legend and the top scorer in the history of Napoli. He has great dribbling skills in tight spaces and his shooting is excellent. I have watched him play many times and he is one of the special players I mentioned in my previous post. Last season he made 30 appearances in Serie A and scored 11 goals. Italy is a particularly tough and difficult league to score goals in. This proves once again what a great player he is. My only hesitation about him is his age. At 35 I don't know how well a player can perform, time will tell. Anyway, his contract with Galatasaray is for 1+1 years. Therefore, in the long run, he will not cause any financial damage to Galatasaray. This makes him a successful transfer in my eyes. This season, the player has mostly come off the bench and even though he hasn't contributed to the scoring in the games he has played, he has definitely made a difference in the team. I have high hopes for him and expect him to score at least 10 goals this season. The player is worth 4 million euros and Galatasaray signed him for free. The fact that he didn't want to go to Napoli's rivals Juventus played a big role in this transfer.

Lucas Torreira

For me this is the biggest transfer Galatasaray has made in recent years. He is a player who has played at the highest level and has proven himself in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A. He can literally be described as an octopus. A player who is always running, always stealing the ball from the opponent and always doing it in the right way. It's not easy to take the ball from the opponent without fouling and Torreira does it really well. I've watched many of his games and he has a never-ending energy. You can see him everywhere on the pitch and he does the right things everywhere. His passing is very good and I think he can score a lot of goals in the Turkish league. 7 goals will be enough for his position considering he plays in a defensive midfield role. I think he will reach this figure easily. Also, Galatasaray's midfield was the weakest part of the team last season. Torreira is a player who can completely cover this deficit. He is also 26 years old. If he does well in the Turkish league and the Champions League, he can get back to the top level and earn Galatasaray a lot of money. If he is not sold, he will keep Galatasaray's midfield at the top level for at least 6 years. The player is worth 20 million euros and Galatasaray bought him for only 6 million euros. I don't think there will ever be a loss on this player. In my opinion, Galatasaray has strengthened the weakest position in the best way possible.

This is not actually Galatasaray's new signing. Last season he was on loan at another team and now he is back. If he hadn't suffered serious injuries in previous years, maybe he could have been one of Galatasaray's starting eleven. I think he had an average performance last season and he is a player that Galatasaray could prefer in their rotation of local players. In other words, he is a player who I think will contribute from the bench instead of the starting 11. I can't say he's been great in the games he's played so far, but he hasn't been too bad either. I hope he will perform very well at Galatasaray.

Yunus Akgun

Last year, when Galatasaray had a very bad season, Kerem Aktürkoğlu was the shining name of the team. Meanwhile, Yunus was on loan at Adana Demirspor. This year Yunus came back to the team and performed amazingly last season. 17 goals and 5 assists in 38 league and cup games. This is a star player performance for me. Moreover, he's also been great in the games he's played for Galatasaray this season. He can make incredible dribbles in tight spaces and his dribbling skills are top notch. I think Yunus will be the star of the team this season. He was one of the best players in the team in the 3 games I watched and I am sure he will continue to do so. He is a player who loves Galatasaray and comes from the youth system. His sense of belonging is at a high level. Also, he is only 22 years old, so with a good performance this year, he can make a transfer for an unexpected price. I hope he plays for Galatasaray for 2 seasons and then transfers to a top team for 25 million euros.

Merhaba Spor severler, daha önce bir takımın nasıl daha yaratıcı olabileceğine dair bir yazı yazmıştım. Şimdi de tuttuğum takımın yaptığı transferleri anlatan bir post yazacağım. Ben Türkiye'nin en büyük 4 takımından biri olan Galatasaray'ı destekliyorum. Genelde türkiyede yapılan transferler 32 yaş üzeri artık emekliliğinden önceki son durağı olan futbolcular olarak yapılır. Çünkü genelde kulüpler yüksek maaşlar verir ve hala Avrupa'da oynama şansı vardır. Bu yüzden oyuncular için de caziptir. Bu yıl bu biraz değişti. Yani yaşlı oyuncular da transfer edildi ama bu oyuncuların kalitesinden ya da performansından şüphem yok. Daha fazla uzatmadan yapılan transferlere ve ne kadar ucuz olduklarına bir göz atalım. Bilmeyenler için türkiyede yabancı oyuncu kısıtlaması var. Her takım 3 tane Türk oyuncuyu ilk 11'de oynatmalı. Bu da Türk oyuncuların değerini 2 katına çıkarıyor. Takımınızda minimum 5-6 tane güvenebileceğiniz Türk oyuncu olmalı ki oyuncu değiştirirken sıkıntı yaşamayın. Abdulkerim geçen sezon Konyaspor'da gösterdiği performansla dikkatleri üzerine çekti. Bir stoper için 5 gol 3 asist gerçekten çok iyi bir katkı. Konyaspor'un geçen sezon 10 maçını falan izledim ve gerçekten kötü bir oyuncu olmadığını düşünüyorum. Buna rağmen bazı oyuncular bazı takımlarda iyi görünebilir. Önemli olan büyük takımlarda da aynı etkiyi yaratabilecek mi ? Şu ana kadar ben harika bir transfer olarak görmüyorum. Özellikle de Marcao'nun yerini doldurabilecek bir transfer değil. Yine de 5 milyon Euro değeri olan bir oyuncuyu 2.8 milyon euro'ya almak bana göre bir başarı. Ben bu transferi ilk 11'den ziyade bir yedek oyuncu transferi olarak yorumluyorum. Dediğim gibi Türk oyuncu oynatma kuralından dolayı bazen oyuna girebilecek ve rotasyonu güçlendirecek bir oyuncu. Ayrıca genç olması ve önemli bir potansiyel vadetmesi de yine transferini bana göre mantıklı kılıyor. Oyuncunun mevkisi sol bek ve geçen sezon eski takımında 23 maça çıktı. Bu oyuncunun maçlarını pek izlemediğim için performansına dair yorum yapmayacağım. Değeri 950 bin euro ve transfer ücreti 1.14 milyon euro.

Sergio Oliveira

Sergio'yu birkaç yıl önce Porto'da iyi bir çıkış yaptığı zamanlarda biraz araştırmıştım ama o zamanlar fiyatı aşırı pahalıydı ve Türkiye'ye gelmesi mümkün değildi. Hiçbir oyuncu en iyi zamanında Türkiye'de oynamak istemez, en azından büyük oyuncular. Geçen yılın yarısında Porto'da yarısında da Roma'da oynadı. 8 Gol 2 asist 46 maçta bir merkez orta saha için hiç fena değil. Bunu yaptığı ligler bana kalırsa Türkiye'den iyi ligler. Yani Türkiyede çok daha iyi performans göstermesini bekliyorum. Türkiye'deki 3 maçın tamamını izledim. Neredeyse bütün takım çok yeni bu yüzden net bir değerlendirme yapmak doğru değil ama izlediğim kadarıyla tempolu bir oyuncu değil. Evet oyun içinde dribling yapıyor ve oldukça koşuyor ama genelde koşmak yerine topu hareket ettirmeyi seviyor. Benim farkettiğim en önemli özelliği top kaybetmemesi. Bir şekilde topu saklıyor ve her zaman başarılı paslar atıyor. Büyük takımlarda bu önemlidir. Ayrıca geçen yıl oynadığı iki takım da büyük takım. Bu da büyük takımın beklentilerinin farkında olduğunu ve buna alışkın olduğu anlamına gelir. Oyuncunun değeri 12 milyon euro ve Galatasaray'ın ödediği para yalnızca 3 million euro. Ben oyuncunun 30 yaşında olmasının bunda etkili olduğunu düşünüyorum ama yine de Galatasaray'da 3-4 yıl üst düzey performans gösterebilir. Frikiklerde çok başarılı olduğundan bahsetmeyi unuttum. Galatasaray'ın üst düzey bir santrafora ihtiyacı olduğunu düşünüyordum. Geçen yıl Diagne, Mostafa Mohamed ve Gomis inişli çıkışlı performanslar gösterdi ve hiçbiri ilk 11'in değişmez ismi olamadı. Bana kalırsa aralarında en iyisi Mohamed'di var her maçta oynaması gerekiyordu ama bu yazının konusu bu değil. Seferovic daha önce de Türkiye'de birçok takımla adı anılan bir oyuncu. Geçen sezon geçirdiği sakatlıklardan dolayı çok maça çıkamasa da ondan önceki yıl 48 maçta 26 gol 7 asiste sahip. Uzun boyu ve kuvvetli fiziğiyle Türkiye liginde her zaman uygun bir santrafor. Ayrıca iyi paslar verip kanat oyuncularını da pozisyona sokan bir oyuncu. Ben şimdiye kadar izlediğim 3 maçta pek de iyi oynadığını söyleyemem. Birkaç tane net gol kaçırdı ve hiç golü yok. Yine de oyuncular birbirine alıştıkça daha iyi oynayacağını ve üst düzey performans göstereceğini düşünüyorum. Oyuncuyu Galasaray 1 yıllığına 1 milyon euro karşılığında kiraladı. Oyuncunun satın alma opsiyonu ise 2.5 milyon euro. Galatasaray bu opsiyonu kullanır mı bilmiyorum ama güncel değerinin 8 milyon euro olduğunu düşünürsek bu iyi bir transfer.

Leo Dubois

Leo Lyon'un sağ beki ve aynı zamanda takımın kaptanı. Geçen sezon ufak tefek sakatlıklara rağmen 28 maça çıkmış ve 3 asist yapmış. Asist sayısı bana biraz az geldi. Büyük takımlarda oynayan sağ bek oyuncuları bana göre daha çok asist yapmalılar. Çünkü hücumda onlara da çok iş düşüyor. Açıkçası pek fazla maçını izlemediğim için performansı hakkında yorum yapmayacağım ama Lyon'un kaptanı olması bile bana iyi bir oyuncu olduğunu söylüyor. Ayrıca Fransa milli takımı ile de 13 maça çıkmış. Performansını türkiye için de değerlendiremiyorum çünkü resmi maçlardan önce sakatlandı ve 3 maçı da kaçırdı. Bir sonraki maçta oynanması bekleniyor. Sakatlıktan çıktıktan birkaç maç sonra performans vermesini bekliyorum. Leo'nun değeri 10 milyon euro ve Galatasaray onu sadece 2.5 milyon euroya transfer etti. İşin en güzel yanı Leo 27 yaşında ve eğer iyi bir performans gösterirse 2 yıl sonra daha yüksek bir fiyata satabilir.

Fredrik Midtsjö

Fredrik oyunun her noktasında olan bir merkez orta saha. Çok dinamik ve hareketli bir oyuncu. Hem hücum hem de defans konusunda başarılı. Futbolda as oyuncular kadar yedek oyuncular da çok önemlidir. Güvenilir bir yedek oyuncu hatta as oyuncunun yerine tereddütsüz oynatabileceğiniz oyunculara her zaman ihtiyacınız vardır. Midtsjö tam olarak böyle bir oyuncu. Hollanda ligini pek izlemiyorum, yukarıda yaptığım yorumları türkiyede gösterdiği performansa bakarak yapıyorum. Pasları oldukça iyi ve box to box diyebileceğimiz tarzda bir oyuncu. Şu an değeri pek anlaşılmasa da sezon ilerledikçe takıma büyük katkı sağlayacağını düşünüyorum. Şimdiden 2 maçta bir asiste sahip. Değeri 6 milyon euro ve transfer bedeli 3.5 milyon euro.

Dries Mertens

Mertens'i eminim futbol izleyen herkes tanıyordur. Kendisi bir Napoli efsanesi ve Napoli tarihindeki en çok gol atan oyuncu. Dar alanda çalım becerisi çok iyi ve şutları da harika. Kendisinin maçlarını birçok defa izledim ve bir önceki postumda bahsettiğim özel oyunculardan biri. Geçen sezon Serie A'da 30 maça çıkmış ve 11 golü var. İtalya özellikle sert ve gol atması zor bir lig. Bu onun ne kadar başarılı bir oyuncu olduğunu bir kez daha ispatlıyor. Benim bu konudaki tek çekincem yaşı. 35 yaşında bir oyuncu ne kadar iyi performans gösterebilir bilmiyorum. Bunu bize zaman gösterecek. Zaten Galatasaray'la olan sözleşmesi de 1+1 yıllık. Bu benim gözümde Galatasaray'ın son yıllarda yaptığı en büyük transfer. Oyuncu gerçekten en üst seviyelerde top oynamış Premier Ligde, La Liga'da Serie A'da kendini ispatlamış bir oyuncu. Tam anlamıyla ahtapot olarak nitelendirebiliriz. Sürekli koşan, rakipten top çalan ve bunu hep doğru bir biçimde yapan bir oyuncu. Faul yapmadan rakipten top almak kolay değildir ve Torreira bu işi gerçekten iyi yapıyor. Kendisinin birçok maçını izledim ve asla bitmek bilmeyen bir enerjisi var. Sahanın her yerinde kendisini görebilirsiniz ve her yerde doğru işleri yapar. Pasları gayet iyi ve ben Türkiye liginde fazla gol atabileceğini de düşünüyorum. Kendisinin defansif orta saha rolünde oynadığını düşünürsek 7 gol mevkisi için gayet yeterli olacaktır. Bence bu rakama rahatlıkla ulaşacak. Ayrıca geçen sezon Galatasarayın orta sahası en zayıf yönüydü. Torreira bu açığı tamamen kapatabilecek bir oyuncu. Ayrıca kendisi 26 yaşında. Türkiye liginde ve Şampiyonlar Liginde iyi bir başarı gösterirse tekrar en üst seviyeye çıkabilir ve Galatasaray'a büyük paralar kazandırabilir. Eğer satılmazsa da en az 6 yıl boyunca Galatasaray'ın orta sahasını üst düzey tutacaktır. Oyuncunun değeri 20 milyon euro ve Galatasaray oyuncuyu sadece 6 milyon euroya aldı. Ben bu oyuncudan asla zarar edileceğini düşünmüyorum. Galatasaray bana göre en zayıf pozisyonu en iyi şekilde güçlendirdi.

Bu aslında Galatasaray'ın yeni transferi değil. Geçen sezon başka bir takımda kiralıktı ve şimdi geri döndü. Önceki yıllarda ağır sakatlıklar geçirmeseydi belki de Galatasaray'ın ilk 11 oyuncularından biri olabilirdi. Geçen sezon ortalama bir performans sergilediğini düşünüyorum ve Galatasaray'ın yerli oyuncu rotasyonunda tercih edebileceği bir isim. Yani ilk 11 yerine yedekten girerek katkı sağlayacağını düşündüğüm bir oyuncu. Şimdiye kadar oynadığı maçlarda harika işler çıkardığını söyleyemem ama çok da kötü değildi. Umarım Galatasaray'da çok iyi performans gösterir.

Yunus Akgün

Geçen yıl Galatasaray çok kötü bir sezon geçirirken Kerem Aktürkoğlu takımın parlayan ismi olmuştu. Yunus bu esnada Adana Demirspor'da kiralıktı. Bu yıl Yunus takıma geri döndü ve geçen sezon inanılmaz performans sergiledi. Ligde ve kupada oynadığı 38 maçta 17 gol ve 5 asist. Bu bana göre bir yıldız oyuncu performansı. Üstelik Galatasaray'da bu sezon oynadığı maçlarda da harika performans sergiliyor. Dar alanda inanılmaz çalımlar atabiliyor ve top sürme becerisi de üst düzey. Bana göre Yunus bu sezon takımın yıldızı olacak. İzlediğim 3 maçta da takımın en iyi oyuncularından biriydi ve bunu devam ettireceğine eminim. Galatasaray'ı seven ve altyapıdan yetişen bir oyuncu. Aidiyet duygusu üst seviyede. Ayrıca henüz 22 yaşında yani bu yıl gösterdiği iyi bir performansla beklenmedik bir fiyata transfer yapabilir. Umarım 2 sezon Galatasaray'da oynar ve sonra 25 milyon euro gibi bir fiyata üst seviye bir takıma transfer olur.
