My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2024

Breakfast was a slice of toast with a homemade sausage patty and an egg over easy on top. I worked on some projects and then took the dog to the trail. This time I walked the normal part of the trail I normally do and then pushed myself to cross the road and head further. It worked out to a mile. Along the way I came across a little shrine or something.

I wonder if someone had passed on the trail at some point. I don’t remember it being there but we hadn’t been on that part of the trail since last year. As we went further I saw deer ahead and didn’t want to run the risk the dog would freak out and try to chase them.

Lunch for me was an Italian sausage sandwich I bought from a supermarket on the way to do an oil
change. I stopped for gas along the way. When I got home it was close to the solar eclipse. We didn’t get a pair of the glasses before today. Several places I stopped on the way home didn’t have any or were sold out. I tried taking a picture with an app, but I think I still needed some sort of a filter on the phone.

I took the dog for an afternoon walk at the trail. We went in the opposite direction from the morning. There were some pretty flowers at the edge.

Further along the trail it seemed the geocache was gone. I did find it moved to inside a tree trunk on the way back to the car.

Dinner was stir fry of veggies and beef. I cooked some orzo to add to it. We were watching television when we thought it would be good to go to the local ice cream place. We invited Sally and Dennis to meet us there. This week’s flavor was blueberry cheesecake. As we sat eating the cones and chatting I noticed the sunset looked neat. Anyway, thanks for reading.
