EUROPA LEAGUE

On Thursday, Sevilla defeated Apoel Nicosia of Cyprus 1-0, while Karabakh won 1-4 at Dedelange Stadium in the second round of Group A of the Europa League.

At home to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, the Andalusians were able to score only one goal signed by veteran Mexican striker Javier Hernandez (S 17).

As for Karabakh, he won a precious 3-0 victory at the Jose Bertel stadium, a stronghold of Dedelange, and the guest quad came through Abdullah Al-Zubair (s 11), veteran Mitchell (s 30), Richard Almeida (s 37) from the penalty spot and Spain's Danny Quintana (s 69).  Honor goal for the Luxembourg team Antoine Bernier Belgian (s 90).

Sevilla have three points, six points ahead of the group, and second-placed Karabakh, who have won three points, are the same as third-placed Dedelange. Nicosia are bottom of the group.
