Un gran saludo a todos los usuarios hivers, ¿como los trata la vida? A mi me está yendo de maravilla gracias a Dios. En esta oportunidad les traigo una de mis partidas online de Ajedrez.
Voy a mostrarles un poco sobre como se desarrolló la partida e iré comentando sobre las jugadas y movimientos de mi oponente.

Empecé con una apertura básica: la italiana. Mi oponente no tomó el centro, así que decidí avanzar mi peón, protegiendo el alfil y el peón de rey en E4. Seguimos desarrollando nuestras piezas, pero él seguía ignorando algunos conceptos básicos del ajedrez.
I started with a basic opening, the Italian opening. My opponent didn't take the center, so I decided to advance my pawn, protecting the bishop and the king's pawn on E4. We continued developing our pieces, but he continued to ignore some basic chess concepts.

¿El primer error de mi oponente? ¿Por qué? Porque empezó a empujar mi alfil demasiado rápido cuando solo tenía un caballo desarrollado y sus otras piezas fuertes estaban obstaculizadas por sus propios peones. Moví mi alfil para atacar su caballo y él lo defendió con su alfil.
My opponent's first mistake? Why? Because he started to push my bishop out too quickly when he only had one developed knight and his other strong pieces were hampered by his own pawns. I moved my bishop up to attack his knight and he defended it with his bishop.

En ese momento, empecé a preguntarme contra quién estaba jugando. Dejó su alfil desprotegido. Pensó que si capturaba su alfil, tomaría mi caballo con jaque y me obligaría a recapturarlo para poder alejar su torre de la amenaza de mi alfil. En estos casos, simplemente sonrío, aprovecho los errores de mis oponentes y acepto las piezas que me dan. ¿Adivinas cuál es el siguiente movimiento? Si sabes cuál es el siguiente antes de ver la siguiente imagen, ¡felicidades! Sabes pensar bien antes de actuar y aprovechar las oportunidades. Está claro que en ajedrez nunca hay una sola opción y que cada movimiento te da miles de posibilidades. Es casi como si habláramos de un multiverso.
At this point, I began to wonder who I was playing against. He left his bishop unprotected. He thought that if I captured his bishop, he would then take my knight with check and force me to recapture so that he could remove his rook from the threat of my bishop. In these cases, I just smile and take advantage of my opponents' mistakes and accept the pieces they give me. Can you guess the next move? If you know what the next move is before you see the next image, congratulations! You know how to think carefully before acting and how to take advantage of opportunities. It's very clear that in chess there is never just one option and that each move gives you thousands of possible moves. It's almost as if we were talking about a multiverse.

Casi no se nota ya que salte varios turnos para no aburrirlos. Mi movimiento siguiente fue capturar su peon con mi caballo ya que no estaba protegido y le da un plus a mi caballo para hacer un tenedor que me permite ganar una torre. Quiero que comenten cual sería ese tenedor con el caballo. Veamos quienes si pudieron conseguirlo. Si eres buen observador notaras que no hice el tenedor si no que tome su alfil desprotegido y el capturo mi caballo en vez de retirarlo y de igual forma gané una torre ganando mas ventaja y mas material.
It's hardly noticeable since I skipped several turns so as not to bore you. My next move was to capture his pawn with my knight since it was unprotected, giving my knight an advantage to make a fork that allowed me to win a rook. I want you to comment on what that fork with the knight would be. Let's see who could figure it out. If you are a good observer, you will notice that I did not make the fork, but instead took his unprotected bishop and captured it with my knight instead of retreating, and in the same way I won a rook, gaining more advantage and more material.
Tras unas cuantas jugadas, llegamos a esta posición. Amenacé con capturar su caballo, y él movió su peón hacia arriba con la intención de proteger su alfil y atacar a mi rey. Habría sido una buena jugada si, en lugar de su alfil, hubiera atacado con la dama, pero no fue así. Yo procedí a aceptar el caballo que me regalo y luego atacó a mi rey destruyendo la defenza donde estaba.
After a few moves, we reached this position. I threatened to capture his knight, and he moved his pawn up with the intention of protecting his bishop and attacking my king. This would have been a good move if, instead of his bishop, he had attacked the queen, but this was not the case. I proceeded to accept the knight he gave me and then attacked my king, destroying the defense where it was.

Tras retirar mi rey del jaque, pude colocar mi reina y mi alfil para dar jaque mate. Él se defendió con su alfil, amenazando a mi reina.
After removing my king from check, I was able to position my queen and bishop to deliver checkmate. He defended with his bishop, threatening my queen.
