Walking Under The Clouds

The cold and gray days continue over my city, this due to a strong trough that has been hitting the southern Caribbean Sea for almost a week, which has allowed us to enjoy low temperatures and a typical London winter atmosphere, but it turns out that we are not located in Europe, but we are in the city of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, an incredible place thanks to its great mountains and the urban landscape that stands out for its modernity and great beauty.

Caminando Bajo las Nubes

Siguen los días fríos y grises sobre mi ciudad, esto debido a una fuerte vaguada que azota desde hace casi una semana a la zona sur del Mar Caribe, lo cual nos ha permitido disfrutar de temperaturas bajas y un ambiente típico del invierno londinense, pero resulta que no nos ubicamos en Europa, sino que estamos en la ciudad de Caracas la capital de Venezuela, un lugar increíble gracias a sus grandes montañas y al paisaje urbano que se destaca por su modernidad y gran belleza.

Caracas, being in the middle of a valley, has a quite rugged geography, where the flat land is practically a luxury and where thanks to it has had to find a way to grow towards the sky, but we are not here to talk about architecture, urbanism, we are here to walk and enjoy the most wonderful places that this city can offer us and without any doubt or not of them is the Waraira Repano National Park, which thanks to its cable car allows us to crown the top of the Cordillera de la Costa in less than 30 minutes.

Caracas, por encontrarse en medio de un valle, cuenta con una geografía bastante accidentada, en donde los terrenos planos son prácticamente un lujo y en donde gracias se ha tenido que buscar la forma de ir creciendo hacia el cielo, pero no estamos aquí para hablar de arquitectura, urbanismo, estamos para caminar y disfrutar de los lugares más maravillosos que nos pueda ofrecer esta ciudad y sin duda alguna o no de ellos es el parque nacional Waraira Repano, el cual gracias a su teleférico nos permite coronar la cima de la Cordillera de la Costa en menos de 30 minutos.

Once up we can enjoy pantries and wide paths that give us the benefits of fresh air, the purity of nature and the most extraordinary landscapes that we can imagine, but on days like these where the fog dominates all spaces we have the great opportunity to feel as if we were walking through the very sky, just by raising our hands we can touch the clouds and when we look to the sides we can only admire a dense white fog that caresses our cheeks and gives us its dew, which motivates us to take out our best friends and launch us on a refreshing and inspiring walk.

Una vez arriba podemos disfrutar despensas y amplias caminerías que nos regalan las bondades del aire fresco, las purezas de la naturaleza y los paisajes más extraordinarios que nos podamos imaginar, pero en días como estos en donde la neblina domina todos los espacios tenemos la grandiosa oportunidad de sentirnos como que si estuviéramos caminando por el mismísimo cielo, con solo alzar las manos podemos tocar las nubes y al ver a los lados solo podemos admirar de una densa Niebla blanca que acaricia nuestras mejillas y nos regala su rocío, lo cual nos motiva a sacar nuestros mejores amigos y a lanzarnos en una caminata refrescante e inspiradora.

These are the days when I most enjoy my city and that is why when I look out the window and see the weather totally white my mind begins to work at incredible speeds, always in search of a new adventure and a new destination which allows me to live to the fullest these storms that to tell the truth are not very typical in this region of the country, is for this reason that without thinking twice I launched myself towards the mountain, my main objective was to reach the top to have a delicious coffee and to walk with complete freedom and total serenity.

Estos son los días en los que más disfruto de mi ciudad y es por ello que cuando me asomo por la ventana y veo el clima totalmente blanco mi mente comienza a trabajar a velocidades increíbles, siempre en la búsqueda de una nueva aventura y un nuevo destino el cual me permita vivir al máximo estos temporales que a decir verdad no son muy típicos en esta región del país, es por esta forma que sin pensarlo dos veces me lancé hacia la montaña, mi objetivo central era llegar a la cúspide para tomarme un rico café y poder caminar con plena libertad y total serenidad.

I love the tropical cold, I love being surrounded by fog and I enjoy the most being able to take out my coats, gloves and scarves to feel warm in the middle of a purely winter weather, this is an experience that I love to live and is one of the pleasures of life that for me have no comparison, it is for this reason that today's walk is tremendously special, because I made it with a feeling of deep tranquility, which was even therapeutic, because it allowed me to relax to the maximum, and simply live life with every step I took.

Amo el frío tropical, me encanta estar rodeado de neblina y disfruto el máximo poder sacar mis abrigos, guantes y bufandas para sentirme caliente en medio de un clima netamente invernal, Esta es una experiencia que me encanta vivir y es uno de los placeres de la vida que para mí no tienen comparación, es por esta razón que la caminata de hoy es tremendamente especial, porque la realicé con un sentimiento de profunda tranquilidad, lo cual me resultó hasta terapéutico, porque me permitió relajarme al máximo, y simplemente vivir la vida con cada paso que daba.
