Buying Fabrics

Today was a pretty exhausting day, where I had to walk through part of the city center under an exhausting heat, therefore, to escape from the inclement sun the most common thing is to continuously stay hydrated and trying to move along the shadows that the city gives us. Fortunately in the various places I could enter I received a large dose of freshness, this thanks to the air conditioners that on days like today are constantly active. My walk this day was somewhat atypical, since I was in the company of my mother touring several stores in order to compare prices and models in different varieties of fabrics, since this year she has several projects in mind that I'm sure will materialize.

Hoy fue un día bastante agotador, en donde me tocó recorrer parte del centro de la ciudad bajo un calor extenuante, por lo tanto, para escapar de las inclemencias del sol lo más común es que continuamente nos mantengamos hidratados y tratando de desplazarnos a lo largo de las Sombras que nos regala la ciudad. Afortunadamente en los diversos locales en que pude entrar recibía una gran dosis de frescura, esto gracias a los aires acondicionados que en días como hoy se mantienen constantemente activos. Mi caminata de esta jornada fue algo atípica, puesto que me encontraba en compañía de mi madre recorriendo varias tiendas con la finalidad de comparar precios y modelos en distintas variedades de telas, ya que este año ella tiene varios proyectos en mente que estoy seguro se van a materializar.

We began our tour looking for fabrics that could be used for the manufacture of flannels, to our surprise we could see them at very competitive prices, since in most cases did not exceed $3 per meter, plus the models are quite avant-garde and really very nice. We continued moving forward and discovered a huge variety of fabrics for upholstery, in this area the prices and quality of materials are more diverse, which forces us to define our project well in order to generate the budget that best suits our pocket.

Comenzamos nuestro recorrido buscando telas que sirvieran para la confección de franelas, para nuestra sorpresa estas las pudimos observar en precios bastante competitivos, ya que en la mayoría de los casos no superaban los $3 por metro, además los modelos son bastante vanguardistas y realmente muy lindos. Seguimos avanzando y descubrimos una enorme variedad de telas que sirven para tapicería, en esta área los precios y la calidad de los materiales son más diversos, cuál lo cual nos obliga a definir bien nuestro proyecto para de esta forma generar el presupuesto que más se ajuste a nuestro bolsillo.

This fabric store is called "The Castle" and it is a kind of warehouse that has about four levels and where we have the great opportunity to immerse ourselves in dozens of aisles, which contain on each side meters and meters of shelves full of rolls with hundreds of meters of fabric of various models and types, thus giving us the possibility to choose between price and quality.

Esta tienda de telas tiene como nombre "El Castillo" y se trata de una especie de almacén que cuenta con alrededor de cuatro niveles y en donde tenemos la grandiosa oportunidad de sumergirnos entre decenas de pasillos, los cuales contienen a cada lado metros y metros de estanterías repletas de rollos con cientos de metros de tela de diversos modelos y tipos, regalándonos así la posibilidad de poder elegir entre precio y calidad.
