❤️ @iskafan, I've been learning from several gut health and nutrition experts, including a woman named Dr. Brooke Goldner. She reversed her auto immune disease (Lupus) which is supposed to be medically impossible. She did this by drinking green smoothies every day. She has done the same process with countless patients over the last 10 (?) years and helped them to resolve many, many different health conditions. That was good enough for me!

So my green smoothies have:

  • Lots of filtered water
  • A big handful of Omega 3 rich seeds (often chia seeds)
  • Heaps and heaps of leafy green vegetables (usually several different kinds) and
  • One or two serves of sweet fruit (like banana and/or apple and/or berries)

I haven't eaten much refined sugar for a long time, so this tastes pretty good to me :)
