the day started fine. i did my laundry which took me several hours to complete. most were gym clothes and some were the clothes i wore from the last trip. it was quite difficult to schedule, i live in an apartment of three and the the other two did their laundry earlier that week. we only have limited space for drying out clothes. i finally managed to do mine after all of theirs were dry. laundry is not something i look forward to, the washing part is taken care by the machine but i had to do the hanging. this part i do not enjoy at all. hanging around 20 pieces using the hanger and around 30 pieces on clothes pin is such an arduous task for me. so repetitive! i just can't.

later in the day, i got busy preparing for the snowboard trip for the next day. i packed the necessary ones: jacket, snow pants, undies, beanie, neck warmer, gloves, and butt pad. yes, i bought butt pads, gotta protect the non-existent butt. i had a pretty bad fall a few years back and it hit my butt tail, you call it coccyx i believe. it hurt really bad and took weeks before it fully healed. i bought a butt pad after that incident. a beginner like me would need all the extra possible help just to get good. i am not aiming to be the best but i just want to be decent at the sport, something to brag about share to friends. not all from the philippines knows how to snowboard, most do not even have the opportunity to see snow. so being decent at it is already something.

but as i was doing the packing, i heard some clicking noise. i ignored it at first but it got to an annoying point where i had to find the cause. the laptop! oh no! i hoped it was not the hard disc, while i dismantled the back cover. it has been a while since i used tools to open stuff, and i hope i don't make matters worse. long story short, i opened and locked the back cover for four times before i finally settled to unplug the cpu fan. this laptop has served me well, the fan had to go. i have said goodbye to the original batteries, ram, and hard disc. i immediately went to amazon to order the fan. fan is essential to a laptop. i could not imagine myself cramped up in some small closed space without any proper air ventilation, it must be the same for the laptop parts. the fan will arrive tomorrow and hopefully be installed as well after the snowboard trip.

after all that stress, i had to eat something sweet. introducing the filipino delicacy piaya ube. it is an unleavened flatbread filled with ube spread. this is quite famous in the hiligaynon (western visayas) world in the philippines. one was not enough for all that stress.

that night, i went to the gym for my usual hour long cardio on the treadmill: not jogging nor running but walking uphill. sometimes i would like to push the envelope and start jogging. if only my ankles don't hurt that much, i would have done this a long time back. for now i will be content with a walk. that is a start.

that is all for today.
have fun and stay safe.
AMPING!

Nice step counts and a very busy day. I would say it’s a win.
I too find drying or hanging laundry quite arduous but the end result of scented freshly washed clothes feels worth the stress. Well done
