they really look like the avengers here. and since we will be continuing the story till the end, i'm choosing this picture as cover photo to show all tenblank members. from the left we have their current manager, the smooth keyboardist, our drummer heroine, the music genius, the guitar hero, and finally the ex-manager.

the continuation

this was the scene where our guitar hero and our music genius recalled their past. after hearing the sad news regarding the genius one, our guitarist got really confused weather to continue or quit the band. this scene was how they reconciled. he just meant well but finally understood why the genius wanted to make the band.

now it was the keyboardist's time to shine. he was quite nonchalant about this whole thing but he did mention that he must have the hardest decision.

[Hidden Spoiler Text] he admitted to developing romantic feelings towards our drummer heroine, but then he knows that our heroine is in love with the music genius. so disbanding would be to his best interest romantic wise, our drummer would be separated from the genius. but then, is this what he really wanted professionally?

in the end, he understood that quitting the band so our genius could continue on living was a selfish request from them all. they all knew from the beginning that music is life for our music genius. in fact, he already had a new piece and asked our keyboardist for advice.

he also retracted his "love" stating that what he must have loved was the drumming style and not the person herself. he also asked our heroine to reconsider.

now the final boss, our drummer heroine herself. hers was a personal level; she wanted to quit because she had caused harm to our genius

! [Hidden Spoiler Text] when she took him out to make music and ended up in the hospital. she does not want him to die, she just wanted to stay beside him forever. she knew that her love would never be requited.

but then, the genius called her and sang out his new piece for the band. our heroine must have felt his heart for sure, she ran to where he was cities away i suppose. but this series makes it look like these places were close by, it must be kilometers away for sure. she made it in front of him before he finished singing the song; either that song is at least 30 minutes long or they were very close by.

as i mentioned, she felt him. and the rest is history. the band is back.

and this rock festival produced by our antagonist producer was their get together show. they weren't invited in the first place but bands withdrew from the concert after a character damning revelation. the show was bound to fail. but tenblank came and brought their fans with them. it became a legendary show.

that smiling face was a sign of how much fun they had, and that passionate voice showed that they were serious with their craft, that they would die without it. they showed that it was better to keep pushing for your dreams than cower in fear for something uncertain but inevitable. and the audience absorbed that message well, this band is bound for greatness.

our punk rock soloist came at the right time to help with the vocals, that was a legendary peace. they invited on stage our lady solo artist, it was her redemption arc. our ex-manager even claimed that she will rightfully reclaim her manager role. and yes our antagonist producer finally understood what he lacked.

probably i am just biased towards music related shows, but this really felt like a great show. i would recommend this and have been recommending this to my friends.

the unseen first episode

there were parts of the series where i felt some disconnect. one of my housemates, housemate jb, started watching the show so i shared to him some of my thoughts. he revealed that i missed more than half of the first episode.

i missed how our drummer heroine got dumped by her band right while preparing for their show during a rock festival, the same rock festival produced by our antagonist producer at the series' end. it even rained and the rest of the show got cancelled because of the bad weather, but our drummer heroine because of frustrations decided to play right there on the concert grounds. and at the stage, our music genius played the piano. they haven't been officially introduced but their individual sounds have already met.

she went on failing auditions after auditions and decided to quit. she resorted to becoming a food delivery and that was where i started the series with her delivering a food to the musical genius' house. but this was a targeted delivery, they specifically asked for her to deliver. that meant that our genius knew who she was and wanted her for the band.

i guess the series could also be viewed that way, and that made it extra poetic.
