My Actifit Report Card: September 24 2022

avatar

Saturday isn't rainy yet. The typhoon is coming so everyone should be prepared. Still, my wife and I went to San Carlos City to support our deaf ministry, and we got to see new deaf students.

We went home in the afternoon, took some rest and snacks. My wife and I invited my sister again to go to the beach. It's a form of exercise, and a way to have some fresh air again.

We went home walking and something unfavorable happened. It's already fine but I hope the guards will inform the seating government because the drainage is causing accidents.

Is this a new typhoon coming, be safe my friend!

It just passed our place. Too bad, the first places it passed on are badly affected. Typhoons usually weaken while at land, thus its already weak when it struck our place.

Well I guess that's a good thing, at least you know it will weaken once it hits land .....again glad you guys are safe!!😀

Thanks. Actually, one of the big help is the mountain range at the eastern part which served as a backbone of our big island.

That's interesting, natural mountain ranges can stop or slow down wind storms up here, I am sure it helps where you are as well!🤗

Yes it is. If the typhoon comes from the Pacific, the typhoon will become weak and not too strong when it reaches our place. If the typhoon comes from South China Sea, our province is at the forefront, and it'll be a ravage which we already experienced twice with so many destructions.

I hope if you have any more that they come from the Pacific side be safe my friend!

How about snows? Is it as bad or better than the rain? Never experienced snow so I can't tell. Hehe

Snow can be beautiful, and dangerous if you need to drive to work! If you can just stay home and enjoy a nice warm fire usually within a week or so the snow it will melt away........

I see. I actually wanted to experience snow, and I became aware of its downside.

It also has its beautiful side, we always get out in the winter and snowshoe! Snow muffles the sound from the forest everything becomes very quiet… Very serene!!😀

Nice. So where does the animals in the forest go during winter?

I'm sure it is difficult for them! They bed down, they try to stay warm, I'm sure it's a tough life for them........

I see. So they found somewhere else to live.

Hopefully someplace warm, but I'm sure it's still very difficult to survive a cold winter.....

The animals were given instincts, and they know how to survive the bad weather. The migratory birds from Russia or China go here in the Philippines during winter in those countries.

We have the same with the birds up here. Many will migrate south to warmer weather during the winter. Very soon we will see flocks of Canadian geese flying overhead in formation!😀

Cool. Here, egrets come in. They're eating fishes from fishponds in my wife's hometown.
