My Actifit Report Card: October 10 2020
After waking up this morning in my at the rest area I had some breakfast then another walk on the track behind the rest area. I then traveled to Gympie and managed to make it in time to see the Mary valley rattler head out of town for a tourist trip to Amamoor.
The Mary valley rattler is this train.
The is a C17 class steam locomotive and one of the smaller ones used mainly on the branch lines to bring freight to the main railway lines.
I didn't know the train was running today until I checked on the internet this morning otherwise I might have made a booking for a ride. Another time I hope to go for trip.
So good to see some old transportation in use as a reminder of times past.
