I want to talk about a particular game that it's identify seems to be hidden though it exist in full time..... HURDLING

HURDLING is the stepping over series of obstacles, of the same height and size. There are .any types of hurdles, but in my context I'll deal with one type since the principles are almost the same.

THE 120 YARDS HURDLES: This is meant for men. The height of each is 3ft 6ins and the width is 4ft. There must be 10 flights placed at intervals thus; from the starting line to the first flight is 15 yards as well as from the last hurdle to the Finishing line. Other ones are placed at intervals of 10 yards.

THE TECHNIQUES OF 120 YARDS HURDLES:
In addition to the points enumerated below, there are three requisites of a hurdle- must be tall; must be able to run fast; must be supple. For a good hurdling, an athlete should take note of the following:
1. The start of the race is done as sprints
2. The take-off : This varies according to individual. The steps to the first hurdle may be 7 or 8 and the steps between the hurdles may be 3. Since these these distances are not permanent, each athlete establishes the distances that will suit him by trial and errors.
3. Straight leading leg: After the take-off, there is a fast throw of the leading leg forward; opposite arm reaching forward while the body leans forward from the waist.
4. A well flexed trailing leg- As the hurdle dips down the flexed trailing leg- is lifted before the leading leg is quickly brought down. The hurdler should look always ahead.
Note: It is a foul if a hurdle trails his leg outside the hurdles. Also, if a hurdler knocks down 3 or more hurdles where the hurdles are not the international types.
