Saludos a todos Hivers, para mi es un gusto escribir en la comunidad líder del deporte en Hispanoamérica como lo es @fulldeportes, tal como lo habíamos prometido en el
post anterior , hoy les traemos la reseña del Draft 2021 de la NFL celebrado en Ohio, desde el jueves 29 de abril al sábado 01 de mayo en el
First Energy Stadium , estadio de los Browns de Cleveland, hablaremos de las 3 rondas de escogencia que se celebraron, además resaltaremos a los jugadores que tenían mayor porcentaje de protagonismo, y que fueron escogidos por cada uno de los 32 equipos que conforman la liga profesional de futbol americano .
Greetings to all Hivers, for me it is a pleasure to write in the leading sports community in Latin America as it is @fulldeportes, as we had promised on the previous post , today we bring you the review of the Draft 2021 of the NFL held in Ohio, from Thursday, April 29 to Saturday May 01 at the First Energy Stadium , stadium of the Cleveland Browns, we will talk about the 3 rounds of picks that were held, in addition we will highlight the players who had the highest percentage of prominence, and who were chosen by each of the 32 teams that make up the professional American Football league.
Como ya había sido anunciado por el comisionado de la NFL, Roger Goodell , la apertura del Draft 2021 se realizó bajo las medidas de bioseguridad que dicta el protocolo para Covid-19, así el día más importante fuera de la temporada regular llegó para los fanáticos de este estratégico y táctico deporte, donde vimos como cada franquicia pudo escoger a la élite disponible de jugadores universitarios, la asistencia de público estuvo estrictamente controlada por razones obvias, realmente no hubo mayores sorpresas en esta ronda, pudimos observar que los equipos se centraron en la escogencia de muchos jugadores para sus equipos ofensivos tales como Mariscales de Campo (QB) y receptores (WR), a continuación damos a conocer a los prospectos elegidos en la 1era ronda.
As already announced by the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell , the opening of the 2021 Draft was held under the biosecurity measures dictated by the protocol for Covid-19, so the most important day out of the regular season came for fans of this strategic and tactical sport, where we saw how each franchise could choose the elite college players available, the public attendance was strictly controlled for obvious reasons, there were really no major surprises in this round, we could see that the teams focused on choosing many players for their offensive teams such as Quarterbacks (QB) and receivers (WR), here are the prospects chosen in the 1st round.

En esta 1era ronda del Draft no hubo mayores sorpresas, los favoritos se dieron tal cual como lo predecimos en nuestro post anterior, la gran figura sobre la cual pesaba la mayor expectativa se dio sin mayor problema, el 1er jugador escogido de la noche fue el prospecto de la Universidad de Clemson, Trevor Lawrence, quien será el Mariscal de Campo (QB) de la franquicia Jacksonville Jaguars, con sede en Jacksonville, Florida , quienes finalizaron en la ultima posición de la temporada pasada, es de hacer mención que el jugador Trevor Lawrence recibió la noticia en su casa junto a familiares y amigos.

In this 1st round of the Draft there were no major surprises, the favorites were as we predicted in our previous post, the great figure on which weighed the greatest expectation was given without much trouble, the 1st player chosen of the night was the prospect of Clemson University, Trevor Lawrence, who will be the Quarterback (QB) of the Jacksonville Jaguars franchise, based in Jacksonville, Florida, who finished in last place last season, it is worth mentioning that the player Trevor Lawrence received the news at home with family and friends.
Esta 1era ronda tuvo en particular que los equipos se enfocaron en las siguientes posiciones: fueron escogidos 6 Edge Rusher o corredores defensivos, cuyo trabajo es llegar al QB e impedir que este pueda hacer pases, le siguieron 5 Mariscales de Campo (QB), 5 Receptores Abiertos (WR), 5 Esquineros (CB), 4 Tacles Ofensivos, 3 Apoyadores (LB), 2 Corredor de fondo (RB), 1 Ala Cerrada (TE), y por último 1 Guardia Ofensivo (OG), por lo que pudiéramos decir que de las 9 posiciones escogidas 6 fueron para equipo ofensivo y tan solo 3 defensivos, lo que seria 67% ofensiva y 33% defensiva .

La 2da ronda estuvo con escogencias para 15 posiciones, de ellas 9 ofensivas y 6 defensivas, en esta oportunidad el porcentaje de selecciones ofensivas fue del 60% y la defensiva 40%, vemos también en esta escogencia que los equipos siguieron dando prioridad a sus equipos ofensivos.

En la 3era ronda se asignaron 12 posiciones a entre 42 prospectos, aquí otra vez vimos que la ofensiva marca la tendencia hasta esta ronda con 67% y la defensiva con 33%

Esta ronda fue para 39 jugadores que ocuparon 13 posiciones, aquí observamos que la ofensiva con 69% sigue liderando el Draft sobre la defensiva 31%.

La 5ta ronda fue similar a las anteriores , esta vez 40 jugadores fueron distribuidos en 14 posiciones, aquí volvemos a ver la marcada tendencia de la ofensiva con 64% de las posiciones contra 36% de la defensiva.

Llegamos a la mítica 6ta ronda de escogencia, recordemos que en el año 2000 en el puesto 199 fue tomado por los Patriotas de Nueva Inglaterra, un desconocido para la época, quien después la historia y sus logros lo llamarían: el Señor de los Anillos , Tom Brady , único jugador de la historia de la NFL con 7 anillos de campeón, en esta ronda se seleccionaron 44 jugadores, esta fue la ronda del draft con mayor cantidad de prospectos 44, que fueron distribuidos en 13 posiciones, 8 ofensivos y 5 defensivos, la ofensiva obtuvo el 62% de las posiciones y la defensiva 38%, destaco que las Águilas de Philadelphia se hicieran con los servicios del apetecido Tacle Defensivo Marlon Tuipulotu , de la Universidad del Sur de California, quien fuera la escogencia numero 5 de esta ronda.

Estimados lectores dejamos un video que muestra las condiciones del WR (Recibidor), Ben Skowronek, quien fue la escogencia #249 de Los Ángeles Rams, proveniente de la Universidad de Notre Dame, una de las universidades ubicada en el ranking Top 10 que mas prospectos produce para la NFL ubicándose en el 2020 en el puesto #8 empatada con otras 2 míticas universidades, Oklahoma y Clemson, de esta ultima universidad fue escogido con la escogencia #1 del Draft, el Mariscal de Campo, Trevor Lawrence, llamado por muchos entendidos como el próximo jugador franquicia, llegando muchos a decir que pudiera ser otro Tom Brady, esperemos que el tiempo, los números y los anillos asi lo demuestren.

Para finalizar apreciados lectores, les detallo mis apreciaciones personales acerca del espectáculo del Draft 2021 que tuvimos la oportunidad de seguir durante los 3 días de escogencia, y así poder reseñar lo acontecido para traerles esta reseña la cual abarca lo mas importante desde mi óptica como seguir desde hace 20 anos de este apasionante deporte de tácticas y estrategias, lo que mas me gusto del draft fue la cantidad de prospectos que participaron 359, cifra esta muy alentadora para la próxima temporada a comenzar el jueves 9 de septiembre de 2021, vimos algo que no habíamos visto en oportunidades anteriores, ya que anteriormente las diferencias entre ofensiva y defensivas fueron muy parejas 51% - 49%, esta vez casi la totalidad de los 32 equipos enfocaron sus estrategias en captar el 60 % de prospectos de las diferentes posiciones ofensivas, y la defensiva obtuvo 40% de los prospectos en su variadas posiciones, esto nos dice que la próxima temporada estará basada en la ofensiva por lo que posiblemente veremos muchas anotaciones, eso lo veremos cuando comencemos a analizar la temporada 2021 - 2022, esto fue según mi opinión lo más destacado que observamos en el Draft 2021, será hasta una próxima oportunidad, como Bono especial les dejo a continuación el cuadro del Top 10 de las universidades que más aportan jugadores a la NFL.
