동재기는 흑석동에서 현재 국립현충원으로 넘어오는 강변 일대에 검붉은 구리빛색을 띤
돌들이 많이 분포되어 있는데서 붙어진 이름으로, 이 나루는 조선시대 서울의 교통중심지였다.
