(ESP-ENG) Europa tiene una bestia blanca: El Real Madrid // Europe has a white beast: Real Madrid.
Hello friends, good vibes to all.
Last night in the old continent, more specifically in Paris, France, took place the final of the most important soccer tournament in the world, second only to the World Cup, the definition of the Champions League. The previous of this match was being very commented because we were facing the best team in the world today, Liverpool, against the team that has a history and a weight in its shield like no other club in Europe, Real Madrid; being both characteristics quite proven throughout this edition of the tournament through a series of matches that gave a lot to talk about.
We were all anxious for the game to start but due to security issues the start of the game was delayed for more than half an hour, issues that we may be used to seeing on this side of the pond but in a Champions League final? - nothing to see. What happened was a total embarrassment. Madrid had just won their 35th league title and were looking for their fourteenth Champions League title, while Liverpool were just one point away from being crowned champions in the Premier League and their intention was to take revenge and win what would have been their seventh Champions League.
The match started in the same way as most of the time when these two teams played, the Reds exerted a suffocating pressure while the Whites seemed to be calm with that and limited themselves to long passes to find the speed of Vinicius on the wing and catch off guard a team that although it is true that sometimes they sometimes falter a little in defense, the players they have in those positions are among the best in the world, In this case I am referring to Alexander-Arnold and well not so much as the best in the world but they also have a Konaté who never left the Brazilian alone. But that's how it had always been, Liverpool playing that game of pressure and quick recovery of the ball and Madrid waiting and taking advantage of sloppy spaces.
As the half progressed, the English seemed to be making more merits to be ahead in the match with arrivals and chances from Salah and Sané, with mid-range shots, combinations and association plays, but it was impossible for them to open the scoreboard and all for a simple reason that has a name and surname: Thibaut Courtois. The Frenchman, who was named most valuable player of the match, was in charge of keeping a clean sheet on a night that was splendid for him. His performance was vital as he easily avoided 2 or 3 goals that were practically scripted, which is why for many, including myself, we are talking about the best goalkeeper in the world today.
Such was Liverpool's siege that in the first half Madrid came only once with "danger" but that action was annulled by the VAR. Because that's what Real Madrid is, they may not always get there but when they do, they kill you off. That action was a goal disallowed by Benzema for a very minimal and microscopic offside. It is true that in the last ten minutes of the first half Liverpool went from strength to strength, which allowed the Merengues to have the ball for a while, to slow down a bit with players who are specialists in that, Modric and Kross, so that the 45 minutes were over and at least leave with a draw after they could perfectly have been down on the scoreboard.
The second half would be no different, same recipe. Liverpool would impose their game and Madrid would wait. But as I have always said in these lines, this is not won by those who deserve it, but by those who score the goals, by those who are more lethal, more forceful when they have to be, and that in almost all the competition has been Real Madrid. The Whites reached the goal only TWICE, one of them being a goal. A goal that was the work of the Uruguayan Valverde who with a "pass", because he alone will know if he wanted to do it or kick the goal, that fell at the feet of Vini Jr and what he did was to push the ball Real Madrid caressed the so desired "orejona".
Already after 1-0 there was nothing to do, the game was where Madrid wanted it and where they were used to having it. Against PSG, in the 60th minute they were losing 0-2 and in 15 minutes they came from behind to win 3-2. Against Chelsea they were losing 0-3 in the 75th minute and twenty minutes later they scored the two goals that earned them the qualification to the semifinals. And what can we say against Manchester City, who were trailing 0-1 in the 89th minute and in five minutes they scored three goals and ended up leaving Pep's team a step away from the final. Real Madrid has that winning DNA, knows when to press and when to sleep the game, maybe throughout these games they have not been better than their rivals, because they were not, but the ball is round and that does not matter much here.
Liverpool for me was the best team in the ENTIRE competition, there is nothing to reproach Klopp's team for. The level of play, the level of their players was something I really enjoyed watching. Also and for all those reasons I thought they were going to take the treble, knowing that the Premiership was more complicated. But what I said before applied, history and the weight of an institution can weigh much more in these cases. Casemiro, Kross, Modric and Benzema have 5 Champions League titles on top, Carlo Ancelotti is the only coach to have won 4 Champions League titles and the five most important leagues in Europe, all this weighs because they are people who know how to manage these games and this competition. Nothing is by chance.
But there are a couple of things I would like to say before finishing. The first is that I think it is quite clear that the Ballon d'Or has to go to Karim Benzema, the year the Frenchman has had is crazy being the best 9 in the world, in my humble opinion, that there is at present. I am already waiting for November to come to see what he will do with France in the World Cup. And the second thing is a fact that I found very curious and that in the end soccer is not always about names and how many "superstars" you can have in your squad.
Being Madrid champions, many of us remember and thanks to the celebration on the field lifting the cup that this team has two players who at the time were TOP and that without doing absolutely nothing they have in their trophy cabinet one more Champions League, I am referring to Bale and Hazard. It is impressive how they are not being talked about but if a Rodrygo, a Vinicius, a Fede Valverde, the same Camavinga who has not done badly, etc.. Players that are supposed to be elites and that for different reasons did not contribute anything to the club yesterday were celebrating, because it was their turn or by obligation, a trophy that many players dream of having and that they will never get. It sounds cruel and all but it is a reality. And mind you, part of Madrid's current history was written by Bale, but nowadays, more because of extra-sporting attitudes than anything else, he is not relevant for the club.
In short, Real Madrid is the most decorated team in history and perhaps many fans of other teams do not like that but at this time we must be objective, today there is no club with the ability and winning mind like Real Madrid. And this is said by a person who is not a fan of them but when you want to write about a fact you have to do it with two fingers in front. Liverpool deserved the Champions League? yes, without any doubt, in fact they were my champions but soccer is like that and that is the spectacular thing about this sport, how unpredictable it is.
¡Un abrazo a todos, nos leemos en la próxima!
Well my people that's all for today, I hope you liked it.
¡Hugs to all, see you next time!
They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

Saludos hermano!
