Y es que cuando tienen la indumentaria Adidas de Venezuela parecen zombies, gallinas sin cabeza o simplemente futbolistas que por 90 minutos se les olvidan los fundamentos básicos del fútbol. ¿Esto es culpa del técnico? - para nada, es un tema netamente de los jugadores. No sabemos si Vizcarrondo seguirá como el entrenador, supongo que esa es su meta, como fanático no lo veo nada mal considerando el "éxito" que ha tenido en las inferiores pero al final es la federación quien decidirá el destino técnico de la Vinotinto.

Venezuela perdió 1-0 en un partido que fácilmente pudo haber terminado 7-0 teniendo en cuenta que Argentina pateó directamente al arco unas 11 veces de las cuales 10 de esos chutes fueron parados por José Contreras, el joven arquero y quien además fue el mejor jugador de la selección en cancha; cuando un portero destaca tanto ya sabemos que aquello fue un desastre. De aquella Vinotinto de las eliminatorias solo 4 repitieron: Ferraresi, Casseres, Aramburu y Telasco; ninguno de los 4 brilló. De hecho creo que de lo más flojo fue lo visto defensivamente con un Ferreresi que se supone tenía que haber sido el líder en cancha en ese sector y fue todo lo contrario, lo vi flojo en marca, deambulando, perdido en ocasiones; un total zombie.

Finalmente vimos un extremo que se atreve a cosas, que empuja y que sobretodo corre y dejamos atrás a la gambeta y lujo sin sentido y hasta al trote lento de Soteldo. Creo que este jugador fue de lo más desequilibrante que tuvo Venezuela la noche del sábado y la verdad fue un gusto verlo darlo todo, esas actitudes y ganas de mostrarse son las cosas que necesita la selección. Pero este idilio llega hasta ahí, solo estos dos jugadores lograron llenar las expectativas de un partido que se sabía no significaba nada más allá del querer buscar esas nuevas caras del futuro.

¿Cual está siendo el consuelo de muchos? - pues que es el primer partido y que no se debería de juzgar tan duramente a los jugadores. Puede que haya sido el primer día de una idea y de un planteamiento pero no lo fue en lo que a saber mover un balón, a defenderlo y correrlo se refiere, en esos aspectos ya hay rodaje en todos los que estuvieron en cancha. Así que siempre desde esta tribuna se les va a pedir el máximo a estos jugadores, porque una cosa es que te pasan por encima por el nivel futbolístico pero otra es que lo hagan en actitud. Y esto parece un deja vu pero tristemente no lo es. El primer tiempo fue trágico, el segundo la cosa medio mejora pero por cortos pasajes de tiempo (más por el desgaste físico de Argentina que por otra cosa), nunca hubo una consolidación real de absolutamente nada.

Y la falta de alma y sangre. No hay mentalidad, sigue sin haberla a pesar de que esta es una selección 90% renovada. Si a esto le sumamos que el segundo amistoso que era esta semana lo suspendieron vaya a usted saber por qué pues nada, seguiremos a la deriva y sin preparación alguna. Mientras tanto, la sangre brilla por su ausencia.

Comparto plenamente vuestra visión...Tanto Contreras (porterazo) como Mendoza (aunque no le haya sorprendido mucho a @nameless16) serían de la partida, en una alineación cualquiera, si fuéramos DT. Fueron los únicos destacados de la noche amistosa.
Falta demasiado para el siguiente ciclo y espero que Venezuela sepa aprovechar el largo receso para reagruparse bajo un nuevo mando.

Eso es lo que esperamos todos, que la federación logre encontrar al técnico adecuado si no es que se queda Vizcarrondo. Además de la depuración a nivel de jugadores, que ya la vimos, tiene que haber una mental, no puede ser que sigamos teniendo los mismos problemas y que se salven sólo un par. El trabajo que queda titánico y de proporciones bíblicas.
