Otra semana más en las pistas de este estupendo deporte en donde al parecer no nos vamos a cansar de ver el dominio aplastante de unos y el desinfle paulatino de otros. Este fin de semana aterrizamos en tierras americanas para un circuito callejero bastante moderno y nuevo en donde los pilotos no fueron las únicas estrellas que desfilaron por aquellas instalaciones y el propio paddock. Veníamos de Azerbaiyán, un premio que fue dominado ampliamente por el Checo Pérez y todo el equipo de Red Bull. Pues hay que decir que Miami no fue muy diferente a lo vivido la semana pasada y es que el equipo austriaco nuevamente dio una catedra monumental y contundente de velocidad y ritmo pero esta vez de la mano del vigente campeón Max Verstappen.

Lo que estamos observando en esta temporada es abismal, las diferencias con respecto a los otros carros y equipos son muy notorias y es que de las cincos carreras que llevamos en la temporada todas han sido ganadas por los pilotos de Red Bull, tres por el neerlandés y dos por el mexicano, pareciera que no hay nadie que sea capaz de revertir eso. Por otro lado y no menos importante el de Asturias, Fernando Alonso, de los cinco podios lleva cuatro subiéndose en el. Una verdadera proeza, hazaña y gran trabajo el que están haciendo la gente de Aston Martin esta temporada, un equipo que creo que nadie apostaba tanto por ellos y actualmente están por encima de la Ferrari y de la Mercedes.

Hay que hablar un poco con el que fue uno de los protagonistas, para mal, de la clasificación del día sábado y si Leclerc, tienes razón, aquello no fue aceptable. La temporada que está teniendo el monegasco y la Ferrari en general es realmente para el olvido ya que si vemos sus números llevan tan solo un podio en cinco carreras que fue la semana pasada el cual fue por poco ya que recuerdo que Alonso estuvo a punto de adelantarlo en las vueltas finales. Pues el día sábado en la Q3 tal parece que perdió el control de su monoplaza estrellándose contra las defensas faltando menos de dos minutos para terminar la sesión y con pilotos con vueltas pendientes por hacer. No se reanudó la clasificación ya que lanzaron bandera roja y todo quedó como estaba hasta justamente ese momento.

Entre las "novedades" vimos como un Magnussen quedó P4, piloto al que por cierto Leclerc se tardó más o menos 40 vueltas en ganarle la partida y a Max Verstappen salir P9 al no poder ser capaz de hacer una última vuelta para mejorar el tiempo que traía. No es primera vez que esto pasa, creo que si no me falla la memoria en Mónaco pasó algo parecido solo que aquella vez Leclerc mantuvo la Pole, en esta oportunidad saldría P7. Sin dudas fue una parrilla de salida interesante que al final le daba un toque de incertidumbre a lo que sería la largada inicial.

Llegamos al día de ayer, día en el que el Checo debía de mantener la punta de la carrera, Alonso buscaba una oportunidad de seguir haciendo historia con su Aston Martin, los Ferrari tratar de hacer un mejor trabajo del que han venido haciendo, Mercedes tratar levantar un poco más la temporada y es que el propio Toto Wolff en una entrevista dijo que sus carros esta temporada, palabras más palabras menos, estaban dejando mucho que desear y el propio Max Verstappen intentar hacer lo "imposible" y escalar posiciones para un eventual podio. Lo ni tan sorprendente? - que en menos de 20 vueltas ya estaba de líder.

Hay que decir que esta carrera fue bastante limpia, no hubo abandonos, ningún Safety Car ni Virtual Safety Car, creo que tampoco hubo incidentes en pistas ni fuera de el; solo una sanción s Sainz por exceder la velocidad a la hora de entrar a los pits porque de resto me atrevería a decir que fue un gran premio un tanto aburrido. Creo que lo más emocionante fue ver el como Verstappen iba superando uno tras otro a lo largo de las primeras vueltas sin ningún tipo de problemas ni resistencias, me sorprendió mucho la facilidad con la que superó a Ferrari, Mercedes, Hass, Alpine y al propio Aston Martin sin que ninguno de ellos fuera capaz tan ni siquiera de pelear mínimamente.

El único que le dio batalla a Max fue su compañero de equipo, como es obvio, de hecho aquello fue lo segundo más entretenido de Miami. Hubo una especie de persecución entre los dos carros más rápidos del circuito durante las vueltas finales lo que eventualmente llevó a Max, haciendo gala del talento y ritmo, a llevarse el gran premio después de haber remontado 8 puestos y dando una exhibición total de poderío. El Checo quedaría de segundo y Fernando Alonso quien a lo largo de la carrera sabría mantenerse completó el podio final. Muy hacia el final, creo que faltando dos vueltas, Hamilton haría un intento final para superar a Leclerc y quedarse con la sexta plaza relegando al de Mónaco a quedar en la misma posición en la que salió, es decir, no hubo ningún tipo de mejora para Ferrari en ese sentido.

Buenos puntos para los dos Mercedes, cuarto y sexto respectivamente, Ferrari a pesar de todo también sacaría buenos puntos al quedar de quinto y séptimo y bueno en esta oportunidad solo sería Fernando Alonso quien sumaría para la causa de Aston Martin ya que Stroll quedaría de decimosegundo. Como vi este premio? - pues más o menos lo dicho anteriormente. En las rectas no hay quien les llegue ni queriendo a los Red Bull, cuando estos carros abren DRS son unas verdaderas balas incapaces de ser alcanzados. Temporadas pasadas podía haber una resistencia un poco más notoria, algo que no estoy viendo en la actual; sinceramente no veo a nadie haciéndole sombra a este par de flechas de la Red Bull.

Catorce puntos es la diferencia entre Verstappen y el Checo Pérez, 119 a 105, mientras que Alonso está con 75 en la tercera plaza. En la carrera de los equipos la Red Bull está más que solida en el liderato con 224 puntos seguido por Aston Martin quienes asaltaron el segundo lugar con 102 puntos, la lucha por el tercer lugar es entre Mercedes con 96 y Ferrari con 78. Si esta temporada sigue el camino que está mostrando más pronto que tarde vamos a poder nombrar en campeón mundial y el de constructores. Puede que me esté anticipando bastante ya que tan solo van cinco premios pero que no he visto mejora alguna en los que en teoría debían de pelear más arriba. Esperemos, por el bien de la competición y el espectáculo, que las cosas se emparejen un poco y la segunda parte de la temporada sea otra muy diferente. En dos semanas nos vamos a Italia al premio de Emilia-Romaña, casa de la Ferrari.

El tema es que además de la hegemonía que se está formando con la Red Bull por las grandes mejoras a sus autos también creo que hay que sumarle la caída de Mercedes y Ferrari, todo sumado da como resultado que los austriacos parezcan extraterrestres dominantes. Mientras los demás equipos no consigan dar el paso mejorar, Red Bull estará en lo alto.

El RedBull es un auto Superlativo, no tiene rival, la lucha es entre ellos mismo, claro si el equipo los deja. En este gran premio de Miami se nota que el piloto 1 es Max Verstappen, la verdad que me sorprendió la diferencia con su compañero de equipo y allí es donde mi pregunto, ¿Será realemente que Max es mejor que Checo? o ¿ El equipo está interviniendo para el piloto de países bajos?
Gran carrera de Fernando Alonso, la verdad que está teniendo un gran temporada, esperemos que logré al menos una victoria en la temporada.

Creo que siempre o por lo menos así lo he pensado que Max es el piloto numero uno de Red Bull. También creo que si es mejor que el Checo en ciertas cosas a pesar de que en algunos premios se note lo contrario como fue en Azerbaiyán que la verdad se vio al mexicano es su Prime. Recuerdo que la temporada pasada se dijo mucho que igualmente que el carro de Russell tenía "detallitos" con relación al de Hamilton, creo que nunca lo sabremos.
