The eyes of football fans are focused on the current Club World Cup that is taking place in the United States. But in Europe nothing has changed, the clubs are still moving towards the next season and for this purpose some signings have already been announced. It is true that we are only in June and there is still more than a month of market but as I said there are already some interesting movements over there. The first one to comment and that has already been announced for quite some time is the signing of Kevin De Bruyne by Napoli after being a free agent following his departure from Manchester City. KDB is 33 years old but it is true that his last seasons at City were very low due to injuries so I do not think it was a decline in his quality. He arrives to the current Italian champion coached by Conte after having rejected offers in MLS and he wants to maintain his level in view of next year's World Cup where Belgium still has to qualify. Trent Alexander-Arnold, the multiple winner with Liverpool, also swapped the premiership for another destination. This right-back is a real soccer machine, he has a very important vocation for attack and when it's his turn to defend he also does the job. There is no doubt what he will bring to this Madrid team, now led by Xabi Alonso, but we will have to see how the move with him will be once Carvajal comes back from injury. The cost of his signing was ZERO due to his decision not to renew his contract with Liverpool. The only thing Madrid paid was 10-11 million to be able to release him before June 30 so he could play in the World Cup. I think he will be a good signing in the long run, he has the quality and he is at the top of his age range. Alonso will know how to exploit the skills of this great player.

Florian Wirtz I think it has been the bombshell of what little so far of the summer market and is that Liverpool has paid more than 150 million euros to Bayer Leverkusen for the services of this German playmaker. But why so much? - I ask because it is the most expensive signing in the history of Liverpool and the entire English league, I think few people do not know about it. I think what Alonso did with Leverkusen was extraordinary to the point that he empowered all their players and it is that paying such an amount for a 22 year old is interesting to see. Wirtz is not a natural goal scorer but what really makes him worth it is the game he is able to contribute and generate in that position, the vision he has and obviously the goals he can score, because yes, he has been seen scoring several even though it is not his strong point.

I think these signings have been the most talked about so far, there have been more, but these three are the ones that attract the most attention. The Argentine Franco Mastantuono, barely 17 years old and already signed by Los Blancos for 45 million from River Plate. Here I don't know the player honestly, I know he goes through the middle forward, he's offensive but that's as far as it goes. River fans like @palabras1 I would like you to tell me what this player is like. Still it's a signing that surprised me but I understand that many clubs were after him. Another "culebron" that looks like it is about to be resolved, or not, is Nico Williams with Barcelona. Just like last year, we are again on the edge with this signing knowing that Bayern are also after him. Where will he go?....
