Lo vivido en el Estadio da Luz en Portugal, casa del Benfica, será recordado como uno de los partidos más polémicos y "manchados" de la Champions League. Vinicius nunca ha sido mi jugador favorito por el tema de que a veces la mente le juega sucio y se va de los partidos con actitudes cuestionables pero esto no le quita lo buen jugador que es y la calidad que tiene en sus botines cuando está enfocado. Estas líneas no son para criticar al brasileño, todo lo contrario, son para dar a entender que esta vez hay que ponerse de su lado.

Lo que yo no puede entender es cómo le sacan tarjeta amarilla por eso, ¿es que acaso celebrar los goles ahora está prohibido?, ¿es que ahora vamos a llenar el fútbol de susceptibilidades? - si un baile de celebración que no evoca ningún simbolismo extraño provoca que unos fanáticos se alteren, eso no debería de ser problema del jugador pero así lo dio a entender François Letexier, el árbitro de esa noche.

A partir de acá todo se fue al precipicio. Nunca vamos a saber lo que realmente dijo Gianluca Prestianni pero personalmente creo que si para decirle algo a un jugador tienes que taparte la boca pues algo bonito no será. Y si, hoy en día muchos jugadores y personas que están en las canchas lo hacen precisamente para que las cámaras no capten lo que comentan lo que hay que tomar en cuenta acá es el contexto de todo y es que antes de ese supuesto comentario ya había habido roces y palabras por el tema de la celebración. Entonces, ¿a quién le creemos? - porque al final del día es la palabra de Vinicius contra la de Prestianni. Un detalle en contra que tiene el argentino es que no ha sido la primera vez que se le ven comportamientos deplorables, se le conocen por lo menos dos que dejan mucho que desear.

Mbappé fue uno de los que escuchó el supuesto insulto al punto de que en medio de la cancha lo encaró a Prestianni. Considero que es un tema bastante delicado porque no hay pruebas concretas y fehacientes del insulto pero si hay una intención de decirle algo a Vinicius, sino no se hubiera subido la camiseta a la boca, así de simple. El Real Madrid apoya a su jugador y el Benfica ha hecho lo propio con el suyo. El tema acá es que la vuelta es el miércoles que viene por lo que si hay una investigación debería de estar resuelta para ese día.

Real Madrid supports their player, and Benfica has done the same for theirs. The issue here is that the second leg is next Wednesday, so if there is an investigation, it should be resolved by then.

De lo que si estoy seguro es que dicho partido será de los más cargados y tensionantes que se van a jugar en mucho tiempo, de por si ya la propia eliminatoria tiene su historia por aquel juego que gana el Benfica para dejar fuera al Real Madrid, si ahora le sumamos esto pues lo que se vivirá el miércoles en el Bernabéu puede ser explosivo. ¿Debería de salir Prestianni a jugar ese partido en la casa blanca? - dejarlo fuera sería admitir que algo pasó pero que salga en el once inicial pudiera ser la chispa de algo grande. Todo dependerá de lo que salga de la investigación, si es que de verdad va a dar algún tipo de respuesta. La cosa es que un partido de Champions quedó manchado por temas de supuesto racismo en pleno 2026, cosas que deberían de estar muy lejos de que pasen pero como sociedad seguimos en el foso (hubo fanáticos en las gradas haciendo gestos). Y siempre digo "supuesto" porque no hay nada confirmado.
