Yes, there is a reason this season got its nickname!
Today ended up being a nice day. So my husband and I went walking on the trail by my office after work. There was just enough light to snap a few pictures as we strolled.
The trees have lasted a long time, through wind and rainstorms, but their time has come.
They may not be quite as pretty with their leaves on the ground, but I couldn’t stop taking pictures of the empty trees surrounded by their fallen splendor.

Ah yes, leaves falling everywhere... fall.
Trees are still beautiful even when they're empty! It's actually hard to find natural things that are ugly :)
