Tree Tuesday - Actifit Report: May 12 2020
Here it is - #TreeTuesday again. It seems like the last one was only a week ago. (That’s some humor for @old-guy-photos, who hosts Tree Tuesday and has a great sense of humor.)
I didn’t get out walking until it was too late for photos today, so I’m going to share some tree pictures I’ve taken over the past week. I’ve been playing with monochrome lately, and all of these are altered from the original color with a “silver tone” filter.
Why, you might ask, would I go to monochromes whenever spring is here at last? Well, it takes a long time for everything to green up here in Minnesota.
So there is still quite a bit of brown among the green. You would never know it, would you?
A few weeks from now our trees and woodsy areas will be jungle-like! We have the most intense greens all summer. But meanwhile, here is my ode to the last days of the tired colors of winter.
Thank you for visiting!

Monochrome look's wonderful despite from the fact that it's kind of lonely for me.
I totally understand that. They can seem a little bleak!
Sweet monos. Those weeks really do come around often though lol.
Thank you, @old-guy-photos! Mono really is fun to play with.
Beautiful monochromes...
Thank you very much!
Love it! I'm going to try to remember next Tuesday. I'm a tree lover :)
It's a great tag! Most people (including me) do color photos on Tree Tuesday. But I was in a monochrome mood this week. There's also a #MonochromeMonday tag you should check out, if you haven't already. What can I say - I'm a renegade who posts monochromes on Tuesday! Ha ha.
Awesome monochrome photos @jayna, so interesting how this changes everything! Just like the old black and white photos! :)
Excellent @actifit steps too!!!

Thanks @silvertop! I do love the transformation of photos when you convert them from color to monochrome!
