Happy Saturday - Actifit Report Card: July 12 2020

Well guys, it has been a busy few days. Between work deadlines and a lot of family things going on, I have not been getting to the blockchain! Of course life is busy for me in the best of times, but add a few curve balls, like kids suddenly coming home, a family birthday, a power outage, or what have you, and all bets are off!

Well I did manage to get a walk in today between my husband’s birthday lunch and a major storm that came through. (Which pummeled us with torrential rain, thunder and lightning, and flash flooding.)

But the only picture I managed to grab on my walk was these tiger lilies.

However, I also captured some pictures in my garden of a monarch butterfly that loves my cone flowers.

Also, I took this pano of the fam just before my husband’s birthday lunch.

The funny thing is that the counter is a perfect rectangle. But the panoramic makes it look like it is a different geometric shape.

It was a little later in the day when the big storm hit. The rain came down so hard and so fast, I was worried my whole garden would wash away! There were rivers running along my garden paths. Fortunately, we just had the usual power outage. Unfortunately, we had no power! But we lit candles and had a nice evening on the porch with friends, toasting my husband’s birthday.

Thank you, @kaminchan. Yes it really was nice. The weather was perfect after the storm and it was so nice to sit outside by candlelight!
