Already the colors are fading - Actifit: October 8 2020

What? Already? Yes, it happens so fast! It’s still lovely to walk among the trees, but their brilliance is fading to softer tones now, and the leaves are falling.

There is also still a lot of green, but some of that is buckthorn - an invasive species.

I do delight in the wild mix of grasses, trees, shrubs and vines. It makes for very interesting photos, I think.

I hope the colors will last a bit longer! I will be in despair trying to take interesting pictures to share between late October and December when hopefully the snow will come.

We really have not hit the peak of our color participation, however it has been lukewarm at nest. Fitting in many ways for 2020!
