Beautiful day today. It was windy, but just as Zoey and I got to the park the wind calmed down and we had a very nice walk. The skies were quite dramatic.
We walked through the marsh again. The particular trail we have been taking will soon be too boggy. So we can only go now while it is frozen.
In fact, the snow melt has already made the trail fill up with slushy puddles in the low areas.
On our way back, the moon rose - a beautiful full moon lighting our way.

The growth in the picture with Zoey is cattails. Soon the snow and ice will melt and it will become a marsh again, harboring all kinds of frogs and wildlife and blackbirds.
