Last Light of Day - Actifit: May 3 2021
The light was fading fast as I jumped out of my car at the park. I actually ran down the trail to get to a place where I could photograph the sky. My iPhone did its best, but unfortunately could not do justice to the expansive, colorful and majestic cloudscape.
It changed very quickly over the next few minutes, and I captured what I could, but as usual when trying to capture brilliant reds, I am reminded that my phone is not a professional camera!
After that I mostly just enjoyed the walk. But there were still some tinges of pink and blue.
Sometimes when it is nearly dark I can still get a few more pictures, such as these with the evening sky reflected in the creek.
And one more picture that I took is just for fun. There was a deer on the other side of a thicket, staring at me and very well camouflaged. I tried to capture her picture, but she is nearly impossible to see.
If you look just to the left of the two prominent trees in the foreground, you can almost make out her shape.

Fabulous sky! I couldn't see the deer, however hard I looked 😂.
