Evening scenes - trees and trails - Actifit: August 27 2021
It was a splendid night at the park for a walk on the trails. I saw a few people I knew, but mostly listened to the current book I’m reading and strolled along on the trails, enjoying the scenery and the birds snd crickets.
I love to look out across the meadows and vistas and around the bend in the trail and imagine things like, “What if I was the last person on earth?”
Do you ever think about that? And then realize how fortunate you are to have friends, family members, pets, or whoever it is in your life that you rely on?
I think it’s very healthy to get out in nature — to step away from the to-do items and the stresses of daily life, and to breathe the fresh air.
I walk all year round, for that reason. Even in the months when the flowers are all gone and there is very little to look at.
Thank you for going on a stroll with me! I leave you a few more pictures to share of the end of the day with its fading glory.
