Just a puttering day and some garden time - Actifit: September 2 2021
Some days just are hardly worth mentioning, but I did get out and work in the garden for a while after work today. Rain was coming, so I buzzed all around, tied up some perennials that had fallen, filled the hummingbird feeder, cleaned the bird bath, and dead-headed the geraniums. I also filled the bird feeder with seed and pulled a few weeds.
Finally I took a gander at my zucchini experiment. I have had some zucchinis grow really big really fast this year so my family and I agreed to let one grow until Halloween and see how big it gets. Last I checked it was about 18 inches long. Well, another one caught up! So now there are two of them racing to see which one will be the Big Kahuna!
And yes, I will provide pictures when the time comes. Right now they are too covered up by the zucchini leaves to see them well.
