Labor Day - fun day - Actifit: September 6 2021
Today the U.S. celebrated the Labor Day holiday, which honors workers of all walks of life. For many, they do not think much about the meaning of the day. They just take a day to relax or do home projects.
I do love a three-day weekend!
I went biking with friends on a beautiful long trail out west of where we live to the countryside.
It was a really stunning trail through farmland.
We stopped at a cute little farm on the way.
There were some friendly farm cats who came to see us.
The restaurant where wanted to eat lunch was closed for Labor Day, so we parted ways after our ride.
But I treated myself to lunch at an outdoor cafe anyway!
In the evening I went to my sister’s house for dinner. I forgot to take any pictures of the people, but one of our mutual friends was there with her 6-month-old puppy, and I got him to pose in a chair for me.
