Wednesday Walk to the marina - Actifit: September 9 2021
I walked alone to the marina. The evening was perfect, with a touch of fall in the air. We are in between seasons. Summer is over but it is not quite autumn yet.
I love the look of the boats on the lake at dusk. They seem so peaceful and serene, like they are sleeping — resting up for their next adventure. And I love the glow of the late day sun on the boats and water.
I also love when that golden glow mellows to softer hues, as the sun sets.
After the marina, I visited a quiet but upscale neighborhood that lies on a point near the harbor. The homes there are in the $2 million range — too rich for my blood! But I enjoy walking through the area.
There’s a cute general store there, as well as a park, a municipal office and some pretty flower gardens.

Gentle colours across the sky, reflections over the water make picture perfect scenes at this time of the year Jayna.
Looking at grand houses, always fun to see, general store way more cute in appearance and presentation though.

I to love seeing boats in early morning or the light of dusk the colors come out so warm and nice, so thats a walk I would loved to have joined you on,
There are some areas here with expensive houses like the one you showed, I walk or drive by them and think how impressive they are but they are also way out of my budget

In just a few months I will be posting pictures of that exact same lake, completely frozen, and dotted with ice fishing huts!
In the sunset in the images are amazing! Lovely pictures you have here. It is self expressive. The boats, the buildings closeby are sights I would love to see.
