Sunset walk - Actifit: November 22 2021

I caught the last rays of the sun and a purple sky tonight at the park. I dashed out of my office to try to get there before dark, and sat drumming my fingers on the steering wheel at a stoplight, watching red and purple ripples fade in hue and intensity with each passing moment.

Fortunately, I was still able to grab some pictures, and even when to my eye all the color had drained from the sky, my phone camera still captured some color.

It was funny how the colors seem to waver between red and pink. The setting sun was playing tricks as its rays moved through layers of atmosphere.

And at one point there was both purple and red.
