A wintry mix day - Actifit Report Card: March 5 2022
I took a walk in a cold wet park, with rain coming down and making an icy mess of the snow! It was good to be out anyway — even though the rain leaked through my coat! Evidently it was made for warmth, but not intended to keep a person dry.
The trails were completely covered in slick ice in places. This always happens when the snow gets packed down from foot traffic, then it melts a bit and re-freezes.
In other places the trail was bare and I was able to walk without fear of slipping and falling.
When I returned to the car I was completely soaked. And then we had lightning, followed by a drop in temperature and more snow. That is life in Minnesota!
