Pink skies for my sunset walk - Actifit: September 12 2022

I took a short hike at the park, which was even shorter than planned because I ran into an old friend and we talked for a long time. But it seemed more important to catch up than to get a few more steps.

Eventually I excused myself to grab a few shots of the pink-streaked sky.

It faded quickly, so I was very glad I didn’t miss it. I captured the next phase too, but it was nowhere near as dramatic.

And then in the last viable light I took a few more shots of the flowers and trails.

Thank you for visiting! I’ve been traveling quite a bit the last few weeks, and fell out of my posting regimen — not to mention engagement on Hive. But it’s time to jump back in!

Thank you for the tip and sweet comment, @joanstewart! Yes, I agree. I'm very lucky to have a local park where I can enjoy nature but I also often cross paths with friends and get to do some catching up.
