Night on the water - Actifit: September 19 2022
Sometimes you take a walk just to get some steps and see what there is to see… and other times you find yourself staring at a canvas of sky painted by angels. And that is what happened to me this evening. It’s why I go to these same places I love to visit. I never know when the magic might happen.
Tonight the sky changed its mood multiple times as I strolled from beach to beach, visiting all my favorite spots. Sometimes it appeared as if a storm might be brewing. Other times it appeared calm and serene, as if to say “Nah, I was just kidding around.”
I love the marina because the reflection of the sky on the water is even more dazzling with the addition of boats and masts.
From the marina I walked on to stop by some secluded beaches I like to visit.
It was nice to see the colors of the setting sun on the water. Little did I know what I was in for!
The next beach was occupied by a mother and son enjoying their time together. I didn’t want to disturb them so I didn’t go down to the dock.
All of a sudden the sky changed its mood again. Like a child throwing a tantrum and refusing to go to bed, it turned a vibrant red-orange.
But it had one more mood to show me on this particular evening. Once it had succumbed to sleep and slipped below the horizon, its dramatic colors abated but it was still spectacular to look at.
A pleasure boat full of happy revelers floated by, all lit up with lights and exuding the sound of laughter.
And then… I captured my favorite picture of the day!

Oh the sky and it's moods... yes? I often envision Bob Ross up there.
The water reflecting... or is it imitating? Regardless... such beautiful photographs, and an entirely wonderful #thoughtfuldailypost. I'm not always able to respond. And I'm sure you've "Heard through the grapvine", all the issues we are dealing with...
But... you know. I can look through all these wonderful folks (that's you too!) posts, that are using my TAG... and can hop off the roller-coaster, and be transported somewhere else.
