RE: I need a break from Arsenal, how do I start following a different sport?

Au contraire, reading the game flow to know where to make that spectatular hit in five seconds (which is like forever given the game pace) is what fans appreciate. However, NHL needs to attract non-fans to support their budgets. Not sure why MLB does not have players fighting in between innings. Perhaps they have enough people familiar with the game to fill up their stadiums (bit of a struggle for NHL outside Canada).
