Broady wins first ATP Tour match in three years

British no 5 Liam Broady recorded his first ATP Tour match win at the Sardegna Open in Cagliari after last securing a win in 2018.

After three years of no victory at the ATP games, the Brit ended the jinx in the first round has he defeated Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler 6-1 6-3 in Italy.

Prior to his recent win, The 27 year old last victory iin a main tour came at the 2018 Miami Open against American Bjorn Fratangelo.

Broady who is ranked 152 in the world have now reached two finals signaling an impressive year in the Challenger Tour.
