Guardiola admits catching Liverpool ‘is not realistic

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has conceded to losing grounds in the chase for the Premier league this season after losing to Derby rival Manchester United 1-2 at the Etihad.

Manchester city went into that match 14points behind league leader Liverpool with the hope of closing the gap to 11points but were hit surprisingly by United at their very own backyard.

He admitted catching Liverpool with about 22matches to go before the end of the season will be a wild goose chase.

Guardiola however admitted his team is not giving up despite how far behind. They look towards securing 2nd spot and hope for a miracle if they are to win the league this season.
