Novak Djokovic breaks ATP record for weeks at number one world ranking

Tennis World number one Novak Djokovic has set a new record has he becomes longest world number one in the history since the history of the ATP rankings.

This week becomes the 311th week in which the Serbian Djokovic has stayed at the top spot, one more than tennis great Federer has spent there.

Djokovic who recently just won his 9th Australian open and 18th singles Grand slam in the month of February say he remains focus to add more titles.

The 33year old doesn't seem to be carried away with the new rankings record has he feels he still got lot more to give to the game.

The Serb who still sits two behind Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in terms of total Grand slams, says henceforth he will try to play smart, schedule himself and prioritize Grand Slams in a bid to catch up.
