Qatar Open: Roger Federer beats Dan Evans on return after 13 months out with injury
Tennis great Roger Federer returned to action after been out since January 2020 with a win against Britain's Dan Evans at the Qatar Open.
The Swiss who has been out for about 14months due to injury sustained won his match yesterday 7-6 (10-8) 3-6 7-5 to advance to the quarter-finals of Qatar Open in Doha.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner who had two knee surgeries in the past spoke of his win, he says he feels good to be back and standing regardless of if he won or not.
Federer also spoke of his counterpart, saying he gave him a good fight as he had to fight back several times during the match to level the scores.
Three time winner of the Qatar open Roger Federer will be facing Georgia's Nikoloz Basilashvili in the next phase of the competition
