Rafael Nadal beats Daniil Medvedev from two sets down to win 21st Grand slam at Australian Open

What a match it was at the Australian Open final has fifth seeded Rafael Nadal came back from two sets to defeat second seeded Daniil Medvedev 2-6 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-4 7-5 clinch the trophy.

The match started brightly for the Russian who looked set to wrap the final and stop the Spaniard from lifting his 21st Grand slam title but that wasn't to be so has Nadal came back in the 3rd set and stretched the game to it's fifth set.

Prior to this match Nadal shared the 20th Grand slam status with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer but his win in Melbourne puts him one ahead of those two tennis greats.
