UFC 264: Conor McGregor confirms UFC trilogy fight date against Poirier
Irish boxer Conor McGregor has confirmed the date for his next fight against Dustin Poirier at the UFC 264 through social media.
The fight is scheduled to take place on 10 July. The fight will make it the the 3rd time McGregor and Poirier will be facing off.
Their first fight meeting which happened in September 2014 saw McGregor come out victorious has he stopped Poirier inside 106 seconds.
Seven years later the pair met again at the UFC 257 where the Irish man and former world champion came out of retirement to suffer a shock victory to the hands of Poirier.
McGregor announcement via Instagram:
The fight is booked!" McGregor said on Instagram. "July 10th you're gonna see what the Mac is about.
The UFC 264 fight in July is reportedly scheduled to take place fight at Las Vegas according to UFC president Dana.
The former two-weight world champion McGregor is fired up to avenge the American after his last humiliating defeat.
