The last Wimbledon event which held in 2019 witnessed a total number of 500,397 which tropped in for the 13days event.

This year event would most likely not witness such numbers as the organizers did not categorically state the number of tickets to be sold for the forthcoming competition.

Here is a summary of what they had to say in the statement released,

"We want to ensure that we can leave decisions on public capacity as late as we can in order to welcome the maximum number of guests, and manage our ticket distribution accordingly".

The organizers also further stated that ticket will be sold online and reselling will not be permitted on grounds. Players and support teams are mandated to lodge in an official hotels and not private housing this time around.
