[Esp-Eng] Un Barsa que emociona: claves || A Barsa that excites: keys

I remember when I was studying in the seminary, we had a football-loving teacher (who happened to be Catalan) who used to tell us that he liked dribbling inside the field, assertive passes, and stylish goals more than simply a shot at goal, even if it turned into a goal. Yesterday I was reminded of this, as in the match that Barsa played against Athletic Club de Bilbao, in which he was lord and master of the match he not only won with a score of 4 to 0 but he did it with elegance. I would like to share what I consider to be the keys to this victory that has excited many of us:

• Teamwork. It was perceived that among the players there was almost perfect chemistry, a synergy that allowed the intervention of each one to bear fruit. The most tangible example of this is that the 4 goals were scored by 4 different players: Aubameyang,Dembelé, Luuk de Jong and Memphis Depay, this denotes the commitment of this spearhead of the Barcelona team. It is surprising how this striker just a couple of months ago was not even dreamed of for Barcelona, now even has the blessing of several options to which to turn to and rely on depending on the circumstances.

But when talking about this good performance of the strikers, we cannot overlook those who are there too, so to speak, "serve them the dish": the midfielders, who were also very involved in every play and tried to keep the pressure high and the possession of the ball. Finally, the work of the defenders was fundamental, because although the visiting team came out with an alternative team that generated little, it is also true that the central defenders, Piqué and Araujo did their job and practically consolidated themselves as a defensive wall.

So, the first key to Barsa's great victory I refer to the magnificent teamwork that took place. Now, there is always someone who stands out, in this case, it was two stellar figures: Pedri and Dembelé. The former applauded and chanted by the public from the beginning to the end, the latter whistled at the beginning but equally applauded at the end.

Of Pedri I would like to point out that there was a phrase he said in an interview after the match where he reveals his secret and it is as simple as "being at ease playing". Rightly so, his participation was so evident on the field and he was the head of that splendid game laboratory that Barsa gave us. Let's think, for example, of the last goal, which was born from a long pass that he gives to Dembelé, totally changing the attacking wing and making that play much easier.

Xavi has compared him to Iniesta in his best days, and it is neither an exaggeration nor a small thing, especially considering that he is just a boy, a 19-year-old with a very promising future ahead of him, called to be one of the gems of soccer for years to come.

From Dembelé it is surprising how after his entrance (he played just 28 minutes) he totally revolutionized the match. Indeed, it is he who scored the second goal, and the other two were thanks to his assistance. You can understand why the crowd changed their whistles for applause in just a few seconds, hahaha, that's life.

He is a very versatile player, he has speed, he can handle both legs and now he is finding his best moment, so much so that with the constellation of good strikers that Barsa has now, for me he is positioned as the best.

Let's hope that Barsa keeps this rhythm and continues to amaze us with games like the last one he played. This is what is most convenient for them to have an end of the season that balances the bad start they had, to climb their position in the La Liga table and eventually be crowned champions in the Europa League, in which they are already emerging as favorites.
