My Happy Place in the Orange Zone - My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2021

I’m finally back doing my HIIT workouts, albeit; still not running and had to modify the burpees and mountain climber block.

It was amazing to be back under the orange lights, as if you don’t know by now; Orangetheory Fitness is a huge part of my life.

The hamstring injury had me out for 3 weeks, but I got through today’s workout:

** ESP tempo triplet **

All 3 minute blocks

Floor (A few modifications, but I was able to do most of the blocks without having to modify)

Block 1

• ⁠10 x hip hinge low row tempo
• ⁠10 x 90 degree squat jumps

Block 2

• ⁠30 sec bicep curl temp
• ⁠20 sec bicep curl own speed
• ⁠10 sec 90 degree hold

Block 3

• ⁠10 push up to alt reach
• ⁠10 bird dog

Block 4

• ⁠30 sec bench chest press tempo
• ⁠20 sec bench chest press own speed
• ⁠10 sec 90 deg hold

Block 5 (modified this block)

• ⁠20 mountain climbers
• ⁠10 burpees

Tread (I had to Power Walk. I’ll do that for the next few days. I miss running though)

• ⁠1 min push
• ⁠1 min base
• ⁠30 sec push
• ⁠30 sec AO

Row (My hamstring didn’t react negatively to the rowing)

• ⁠30 sec base
• ⁠20 sec push
• ⁠10 sec AO

Tread

• ⁠30 AO
• ⁠45 WR

Row

• ⁠30 sec base
• ⁠20 sec push
• ⁠10 sec AO

Tread

• ⁠1 min push
• ⁠1 min base
• ⁠30 sec push
• ⁠30 sec AO
