Labor Day Power Session - My Actifit Report Card: September 6 2021
Monday 6th September, 2G 60min Power
Today, my fiancé Tiffany and I worked out for our 185th Orangetheory Fitness Coach and one of the now confirmed 38th Orangetheory Studio on this Labor Day Monday.
Didn’t have to work today, so we slept in and drove downtown to burn splats at OTF SoDo. We’ve been there a handful of times, but I wasn’t sure if it 35 studios or more have been to.
We always enjoy our time in Orlando, Florida Downtown with this being the South Side.
Coach Josh was #185:
Floor block 1,
• 5 each single arm neutral full thruster to rotation
• 10 superman
Floor block 2
• 6 each side split stance high row
• 8 each side side plank power punch
Floor block 3
• 8 goblet sumo squat
• 12 atomic mountain climbers
Floor (Row) block 4, timed with the treads
• 30s all out
• 30s recovery
• 30s all out
• 1 min recovery
• 30s all out
• 1 min recovery
• 30s all out
Tread block 1, 4.5 mins
• 1 min push
• 1 min base
• 1 min push
• 1 min base
• 30s all out
Tread block 2, 4.5 mins
• 30s all out
• 30s walking recovery
• 30s all out
• 1 min walking recovery
• 30s all out
• 1 min walking recovery
• 30s all out
Tread block 3, same as block 1
Tread block 4, same as block 2
I got through the template without any issues with my leg. I won’t push it with the 5K coming up next Saturday and a couple of weeks after that a half marathon.
A few more days of OTF of course, but the fact that I ran for 2 days in a row after 4 weeks without running due to the hamstring injury; I was very happy with surviving the workouts.
