Orangetheory Fitness Series - Hell Week Day 7

Template: “Pyramid Scheme” 60 minutes

Today’s template was an endurance and power focused session with some extra long all outs on the treads and reps on the floor

On the treadmill, it was a series of all outs with only 30 seconds of recovery 🥵

It began with a 2 minute run for distance and working our way down to 30 seconds and then back up again for the 2 minute run for distance to end the tread block.

The floor block included the coach choosing a random number of jump squats for us to do, our group got 60 and group two got hit with 80. It also included a 2 minute row for distance at the start (goal is 400-600m) and ended with a 2 minute to end the floor block.

Floor Block - 23 minutes

• ⁠Transition back to the floor
• ⁠40 x TRX low row
• ⁠40 x floor chest press
• ⁠20 x TRX low row
• ⁠20 x floor chest press
• ⁠10 x TRX low row
• ⁠10 x floor chest press
• ⁠Jump squats (once only)
• ⁠10 x TRX bicep curl
• ⁠10 x overhead tricep extension
• ⁠20 x TRX bicep curl
• ⁠20 x overhead tricep extension
• ⁠40 x TRX bicep curl
• ⁠40 x overhead tricep extension
• ⁠If finished then do all exercises at 10 reps
