A Monday Not Missed Mode - My Actifit Report Card: October 3 2022

Tiffany and I managed to get up this morning for our third HIIT session in a row and after three days off before that due to Hurricane Ian.

This morning we were right back at our home studio OTF Nona North and Head Coach Mariah was leading the charge with the burst of energy she brings with her coaching.

There was a heavy dose of endurance blocks in all three areas and although I failed to meet 12 splats like the last two days, I still burned close to another 800 calories. 2,589 calories in three days. Today’s will not be the after-burn variety though.

On to the workout template of the day:

FLOOR BLOCK

2 rounds of:

⁠• ⁠12 BOSU Mountain Climbers

⁠• ⁠12 x BOSU Superheroes

To the rowers:

800 meter base row (once only)

Back to the floor:

2 rounds of:

I chose to go with 40 pound dumbbells for the weighted exercises.

⁠• ⁠12 Goblet Squats (weighted)

⁠• ⁠12 Alternating Transverse Squats (weighted)

Back to the rowers:

800 meter base row (once only)

Back to the floor:

2 rounds of:

⁠• ⁠12 BOSU low side plank hip dips (6 on each side)

⁠• ⁠12 BOSU Bridge Dumbell Pullovers (40 pounder)

If finished then repeat the exercises as a single block (I finished but not in time for this), went straight to the finisher.

FINISHER 30 seconds AMRAP (As many reps as possible)

BOSU high plank jack to knee tuck with the BOSU’s flat side up, holding it in a high plank, legs out, plank jack toes out/in, then in to a knee tuck

Over 2000 meters rowed by the way.

With just about two weeks to go until our first running event in months and trying to get back to as best of running shape post accident, today’s treadmill template was a good one to try and do that. Not that Saturday and Sunday and every OTF session that isn’t the case lol.

Finding my personal rhythm, speed and stamina is still a long ways off but there are glimpses of my old self.

My average speed went as low as 5.4mph up to 10mph towards the end.

Got in a good 2 1/4 miles in.

My OTBEAT HEART RATE MONITOR RESULTS:

My chart looks great, the calorie burn was awesome, but my splats were a disappointment considering it was an endurance dominated template.

I see you live in another dimension.

Nobody here on hive (I found yet) eats healthy - I got censored in all the food groups although I posted the most healthy recipes ever. because some admin(s) do not want to see that they are not the most healthy ones here.

I do not talk about some mainstream yoga thing. I do real yoga and I am not a yoga teacher, I am a yogi. Yoga teachers ask me for advice. I give advice - I do not train asanas. Different dimension...

There is a lot to discover. Great invite. I might join if I am still awake at 2 am. Maybe not this time. My head is smoking anyway.
