Mid-Week Sweat Equity - My Actifit Report Card: February 15 2023

Long day has me posting my Actifit-Y from this morning’s 5am workout closer to getting some shut eye to get up for tomorrow morning’s HIIT session.

Tiffany and I burned splats at our home studio and Head Coach Mariah was leading the crew through today’s template.

On to the workout:

I used 30 to 50 pound dumbbells for the weighted exercises:

Floor Block 1 - 6.5 minutes work & rest

• ⁠Repeat until buy-out:

30 pounders
⁠• ⁠6 single arm high rows (tempo), each side, rest (weighted)
⁠• ⁠8 shoulder presses to stand (tempo), rest (weighted)

• ⁠Buy-out: 30 second ALL OUT row

Floor Block 2 - 6.5 minutes work & rest

• ⁠Repeat until buy-out:

40 pounders
⁠• ⁠6 single arm chest presses, each side (tempo), rest
⁠• ⁠8 deadlifts (tempo), rest

• ⁠Buy-out: 30 second ALL OUT row

Floor Block 3 - 6.5 minutes work & rest

• ⁠Repeat until finisher:

50 pounder
⁠• ⁠6 goblet transverse squats, each side (tempo), rest
⁠• ⁠8 bench pullovers (tempo), rest

• ⁠Finisher: 30 second ALL OUT row

Pretty good floor blocks and the rowing had us hyped. I fell short of hitting 400 plus watts of power, but 393 is a nice number.

The highlight for me this morning was on the treads. I ran 10 miles per hour on a 5% incline, so getting closer to personal records and the injuries being reminders opposed to debilitating.

• ⁠45 second push @ 3%

• ⁠30 sec ALL OUT @ 3%

Tread Block 3

• ⁠30 second push @ 5%
• ⁠90 second base
• ⁠30 second push @ 5%
• ⁠90 second base
• ⁠30 second push @ 5%
• ⁠90 second base
• ⁠30 second ALL OUT @ 5%

My OTBEAT HEART RATE MONITOR RESULTS:

700 calories and 15 splat points was a nice tally after a rest day.

ZONES:

Tomorrow, we will be working out at OTF Nona South and Coach Elise will get us off to a great morning start!
